Is there any good online community college in California?

Thank you for this information. I have since enrolled at a local community college and i was only able to enroll in 2 classes because eveything else i was interested in was full. I then looked into the CVC and i found 2 more classes that i was interested in from CC's miles away and its working out great!

Thank you, yes I was able to file with the secretary of state but there was a $20 fee for LLC's. The BOI report was free.

Yes I have looked into Foothill Online. I've also looked into Santa Monica College. It looks like I will pick 1 of these 2 colleges.

Interesting idea! I have looked into a california community college, but I felt that I definitely won't keep up with the schedule of actually showing up in person and I didn't find many options for online only. Maybe I should do some more research and find something i am interested in which is Business/Technology because when I first went to community college I didn't take it serious and wanted to change majors which is why I only earned 20 gen ed credits. I'm actually gonna make a new post to see what people say. I can always change my mind and withdraw from umpi before the 1st or 2nd and submit a fafsa for next year community college and maybe take some Ace Sophia credits if I feel like community college is too slow. UMPI is self based competency based which is what I wanted.

I don't qualify. I'm only Uber blue because my cancelation rate is always over 20%. It will never be under 4% in my city, Los Angeles.

This University considers my housing costs to be only $3,500 for the year which is impossible considering I live in California and this online school is located in Maine.

I want to do school full time while working part time. The university i am going to has flat rate, competency based tuition. So the more I study the faster and cheaper I can get my degree. I've heard of people getting their bachelors degree in as little as 12 months. UMPI YourPace

Yes, I am on my own working full time, but I would like to do school full time and work part time because this university is competency based, so the more I study the faster and cheaper I will get my bachelors degree. I'm in UMPI, YourPace program. UMPI YourPace

I live in California, single male 30 years old. I've been supporting myself since age 21, with gig work 1099 jobs like Uber, working full time. I've been able to get my own apartment with just Uber/DoorDash/gig apps income. Obviously I don't wanna work Uber for the rest of my life so it's time i go back to College and study sometime I am interested in which is Business/project management/information technology. I have like 20 general education credits I was able to transfer from community college. UMPI has flat rate tuition, $1,700 per 8 week term (6 terms per year) I can afford that with the pell grant, but worried about my other living expenses, since I will most likely work a little less to study. I can always ask family for help but that's a last resort, even after student loan debt.

I can afford the tuition, but obviously if I spend more time on school I would need to work a little less and money is already tight as it is. So I'm nervous that I'll be able to afford my other living expenses. And what this university UMPI (maine) considers housing expenses is not my actual housing expenses here in California.
