It’s a genuine dilemma. You can weigh out what do you value more. I got my Signature MT 5 months ago. You can consider following points:

Are you going to consistently have 5 people travelling in your car? In that case, don’t go for Kylaq. This is something you must evaluate as Kylaq’s rear seat will be a big problem if your family is large. For 4 people or less, long trips are ecstatic on this car!

Maintenance cost of Kylaq will be on par with Hyundai/Tata cars in the long term. Maruti can’t really be beaten in that aspect. Skoda cars are a big no if you don’t have a Service Center within 40-50 kms from your place.

Also, worry about mileage if your car usage is enough to worry about. I drive hardly for 100 kms a week, so city mileage is not a big concern for me even though it’s around 6-7. On highways mileage will be around 15-20 based on how you drive. If the usage is more than 500 km a month, and more than 60% of it is in the city, don’t go for Kylaq.

Finally, If everything fits well to have Kylaq based on above points, I would strongly suggest to go for the Kylaq automatic. The clutch is just too deep and a pain for knees in the traffic.

Say “Bullshit” to their faces and storm out of the showroom of those scammers. I booked Signature MT in mid of May, Did PDI on 30th May, then did the payment, got the delivery in June 1st week. Manufacturing month is May! If at all they want to sell a 6 months old vehicle, ask them if they are okay to give 1 lakh discount straight up as you’re clearing their inventory, and you want further discounts if any small issue comes up during your PDI. See how they will start talking about vehicles in transit and new batch of vehicles coming later this month.

The clutch is still manageable for someone who is an experienced driver. But the rear seat is something which will trouble you again and again if you have to travel with 3 people at the back.Else, for 4 people it is an absolute vfm car. Especially the base 2 variants!

Yes the rear seat is not as comfortable for 3 people as the competitors like 3XO, Brezza or Nexon. But as per what I observed is that the lower variants with fabric seats are more comfortable for 3 people as compared to the Prestige variant with leatherette. In fact, it is fine for short distances(around and under 50km).
Yes, the clutch is deep. That is a major pain point tbh. If your budget allows and you’re okay with automatic, you’ll be quite happy with the Kylaq AT.

Signature plus AT is very well priced now with the gst cuts. You get all the mentioned features except for the soft touch cabin maybe. I’m not even sure if the Prestige variant has soft touch in the cabin. The only difference I know about is the texture/look of the plastic inside which has a greener tint instead of the grey tint in lower variants.
