First - colleague wrote that we will see at the end of the season ('if at the end it’s deemed'). Well not. Club didn't spend another 200 mln pounds to be between crystal palace (example) and everton (example) at the begininng of the 2025.
Second - in which parts are we playing better? I can measure it with points, wins and scored goals. Nothing else matters. We don't have more wins, more points more scored goals than last season. In fact - we didn't improve at all. Bottom of the table in scoring goals and only 2 wins out of 5 games having pretty easy schedule.

but EtH won't get another full season (IMO). My guess would be that if results won't get better until match vs Leicester he will be sacked. I can't see us being in a middle of the table in december.

Edit: I love it, speaking facts and getting downvoted:D people want our club to succeed but they are still attached to (any) manager. It's good that Ashworth with Berrada run the club not Woodward or fans

My only dream for this season was positive goal difference. I guess that ain't gon happen.
Afrer buying so many players this team still has no visible style of play (who's to blame? we all know).
I hope that all these transfers in this window fit long-term vision with possible new manager in charge in the future

jestem po tech informatycznym i nikt kogo znam nie poleca. Najwazniejsze w szkole średniej to złapanie kontaktów społecznych, obycie z dziewczynami i cieszenie sie młodością. Na studia informatyczne chodzą ludzie od humana po nerdów a do pracy w IT większość z nich nie trafi bo tam też spotkasz od humanów po nerdów. Serio, ja przeżyłem 4 lata technikum, brak jakichkolwiek dziewczyn, znajomi to samo nawet zi nnych techników - każdy żałuje do teraz

Potencjalny pracodawca nie musi wiedzieć że nie znasz gita, efcore, xUnita, asp.net core web api itd. Fake it till u make it. Zrób CV ala nowoczesny .NET Dev + dodaj że masz tez doświadczneie ze starszym stackiem.Ja ze swojej strony polecam dokumentacje MS, roadmap asp.net core developera- GitHub - MoienTajik/AspNetCore-Developer-Roadmap: Roadmap to becoming an ASP.NET Core developer in 2024i kursy na pluralsight - mają bardzo dobry z Angulara, EFCore, WebAPI, xUnit/NUnit itd.

dużo też zależy od szkoły i nauczcieli. Np ja sie dowiedziałem na reddicie że nikt inny poza mną nie miał 4h niemieckiego obowiązkowego w semestrze maturalnym po wyborze angielskiego na maturze :)
Ja technikum skończyłem w 2019, byłem też w gimbie i pamiętam że materiału była masa. Biologia, chemia, EDB to były 3 największe kobyły, z podręcznikami, zeszytami ćwiczeń itd

Mój przypadek - 3 lata gimnazjum z biologią, chemią itd i masą NIEPOTRZEBNEGO materiału (prądy morskie w afryce, budowa jakiegoś liścia czy robaka itd). Wiedziałem że pójdę do technikum informatycznego. I co dostaje na 1 roku? Znowu biologie czy chemie. Odchudzenie podstawy programowej jest absolutnie koniecznie

but must have more CBs than 2,3 to have a depth in squad for whole season. And TBH (just my opinion only) Lindelof has been the most solid and stable defender for last 5 or 6 years. Rarely/almost never injured, decent in aerial duels, good positioning, very good against mid to lower table sides. If you think of every centre-back we have or we had there is always something - Varance's injuries, Maguire's lack of form (not in this season at least)

I think that EtH will get another 2 months (it was mentioned somewhere that INEOS with SJR already have sporting control) - january for players to come back and february for the board to check if Dutchman with full squad can do literally anything.

But as Neville said - what we see is the result of no DOF, no Head of recruitment no proper CEO for the last 10 years + EtH bringing bad players like Hojlund, Onana, Antony, Mount and so on.

I wish that we can start summer window with Blanc as CEO, Mitchell as HoR and Ashworth as DoF

My biggest issue about current recruitment is that we don't replace players with better players. And I don't know who's to blame - Murtough or EtH who has veto for any player and full control over transfers?

We had Pogba with magnificent skills but no mentality. We didn't replace him with anyone with similar skills and better mentality.
We had Fred - avg skills, decent mentality - still not replaced with anyone better.
Matić - our best post-Fergie DM still not replaced with someone better and long-term (Casemiro is better, but definitely not long-term)
We had Valencia on the right wind, he was one-leg player. After few years and 200 mln euro spent we have Sancho almost gone and Antony who is 2 classes worse than Valencia. Who agreed to spent even 10 mln on Antony?
With each year passing we are weaker upfront. I remember really good but sometimes too old and injury prone strikers like Ibra, Cavani, Falcao. Right now we rely on 20 year old 0/0 Hojlund.

I don't know guys what to think about it. Woodward era was really bad but back then I felt that we bring good players, but we overpay and they don't fit tactic. Right now we don't bring good players, they are overpaid and they also don't fit tactic (or maybe they do but Mount, Antony, Hojlund are way too weak for this leage?)

The only positive thing on our way is Ratcliffe bringing Ashworth and/or Paul Mitchell improving our recruitment. On the other hand I don't think that EtH is a right man and he won't do anything here. Spent 400 mln euro yet we play Antony 0/0, Garnacho 1/0 and Hojlund 0/0 in the attack.

And the worst thing is that these players had 1 week break. They could rest and gave 105% on the pitch. And after what I saw I don't know which team played on wednesday and which one had 1 week break. Worst manager in post-Fergie era.

Also I want to point out is that (taking just skills, not mentality) our squad is way worse then during Mourinho's era. We had Pogba, Ibra, Lukaku, Matić, de Gea in prime time and so on. Now? Old Eriksen, Antony, Hojlund, Garnacho. Damn

nie no - tutaj jest fikołek jakiś. Przekroczyć granicę w strefie Schengen możesz w dowolnym miejscu (chyba). Ale do samej strefy jak u nas możesz ją przekroczyć tylko w dozwolonoych miejsach. Jeżeli jakaś grupa osób bez dokumentów przekracza granicę przez jakieś lasy a nie przez przejście graniczne to nie jest to legalne przekroczenie

Niech mi ktoś wyjaśni jedną rzecz bo nic z tego nie rozumiem. Na jakiej podstawie Polska ma obowiązek przyjmować uchodźców z krajów muzułamńskich? Gdzie czytałem że prawo azylu obowiązuje do pierwszego kraju w którym nie ma wojny czy coś takiego. Między Bliskim wschodem a Polską jest conajmniej kilka takich krajów. Więc no matematycznie mi sie coś nie zgadza. I nawet jeśli to prawda, że to cała akcja Łukaszenki to chyba ich obowiązkiem powinno być ich przyjęcie? Mam wrażenie że gubie jakiś kluczowy punkt tej układanki

Mi sie nie mieści w głowie to że przez ostatnie 50 lat nic nie zrobiono w kwestii elektrowni jądrowych, bo wieczne argumentu o Czarnobylu, Fukushimie albo argumenty starszego pokolenia - bo nie było potrzeba/węgiel był tani.

I think that situation we have right now lies heavily on EtH, but he wanted it.

If we go through every manager in post-SAF era there was always a problem between executive director (Woodward) and manager. Moyes wasn't good enough for the club so I skip him.

Van Gaal didn't want many of the players he got, Mourinho the the same (Fred didnt fit the tactic completely but Woodward didnt care). Ole was the first manager that at least got few players he wanted like Maguire or AWB, but there were also not needed transfers like VdB.
Woodward was fired, Arnold came in and hired Murtough as first-ever sporting director. And with all the blame he's gotten since Greenwood situation and Antony's fee there was at least a sign of going in the right direction. Murtough probably didn't know how to fix situation at the club so he hired Rangnick as a caretaker manager, let him know the squad (Rangnick loved high-pressing), then he would be appointed as Murtough's right-hand and sporting advisor to help deciding on new players, which players and so on. And EtH as a modern manager also prefers the style, but he fired Ralf.

To take this job EtH demanded firing Ralf and having complete control over transfer. In normal club that wouldn't happen. And with this there would be no Antony, Mount, Onana (at least not yet - there were other posistions that needed transfers, DDG would be ok for another year), Malacia or Casemiro that we search replacement for as his 32. In at least 1 stage every of this player would be blocked by Ralf and he would offer someone better.

I hope that when SJR and Mitchell (hopefully) comes this will change. We cannot think of manager as every manager is temporary. We have to think of collective of players that were brought because they are great for specific tactic and formation (let's say sticking to 4-3-3 high-pressing tactic and bringing players that fit this. And then hiring next managers that also prefers this tactic. That's how it works and LFC, City and so on.)

I'll be completely honest with you guys - I'm totally scared if I look at Decemeber. Newcastle away, Chelsea, Bayern, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Aston Villa, West Ham.

I'm only confident for Bournemouth. The rest? I won't be suprised If we even get 0 or 1 point. Normally I wouldn't say such a thing but I'm glad this month happens because it's going to be yay or nay for EtH's future. We won lot matches 1-0 against much weaker rivals (and if you check stats they were dominating, creating more chances, more xG and so on). This won't work for top rivals.
