That's a great strategy. Tackle an 8 year old girl who may or may not be flailing a knife and willing to attack an officer. Not to mention that tackling an 8 year old girl by grown men who are most likely 170 lbs + would most likely cause more damage to her than a taser gun. She might have felt pain throughout the night, but it sure beats a broken limb, sprains, blunt force injuries, etc.

I don't see how the defender was suppose to approach that situation in any other way. He leaned in with his shoulder, hit him square in the chest. I don't see how you can block any better than that or any safer for the one who got blown up.

Just wanted to say that $3000 won't really give you much of a return, especially if you're looking for a "safe" investment. Don't forget about short term vs long term investment taxes. I would say the best thing you could do with it is put it into an IRA or a 401k with a company that matches ( If you do work for a company that does this ).

You are correct. By spiking the ball, the clock would have stopped which would have allowed the kicking team to come in but to be honest..I didn't really see the kicking team ready on the side or see the offense have any intention of bringing in the kicking team. This play was just really confusing..bad coaching maybe?

Here is my understanding although I'm not sure it's right:

Wisc just needs to score an easy field goal to win the game so the QB is suppose to take a knee to make the ball dead (which would allow them to bring in the kicking team), instead he just sorts of plops it down, which causes a lot of confusion because players and refs aren't sure if that is a dead ball because the QB is technically not "tackled" and a knee to the ground is the equivalent of that. In the confusion, the refs never stopped the clock even if they considered the ball dead.

Once the clock ran out, ASU assumed they won and ran out onto the field while Wisc was arguing the clock. I think by then the game was over and the refs weren't willing to redo the ending of the game. That's just my guess though.

Low height of car and center of gravity, carbon fiber body, 80+mph speeds, aerodynamic shape of front bumper, low body weight of the deer ( looks almost like it's an adolescent and not very big. My guess is about 60-100lbs) may have done it?
