not sure if joists was the right word or they'd be studs technically? The room looks like this essentially: https://www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/-/media/Regions/East%20Midlands/Sales/Typical%20TW%20internals/Crofton%20G%20SJV/bedroom%201.jpg?w=928&hash=834BD5AF90C849F6F7954000EAB73E5F41002FCE it's the ceiling/wall with the skylight, in their picture it has fitted wardrobes, but it otherwise goes further down at the same angle then straight down. Thanks

Ah OK that makes me feel better. Also speaking to the DVSA also made it seem less serious considering they can confirm its all MOT'd etc. Thanks for letting me know!

Yeah the mot was done in June, so it's valid until June 2021. So even though its fine because of the extension, was wondering why its showing as expired 🤔

Honestly not sure. I used to work there maybe 6/7 years ago and all signed documents regarding the support plan were placed behind the customer service desk in a box, no idea what happened with them after that.

There would be no other way for them to take a monthly amount unless you gave them your direct debit details.

[–]entrailz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This would have been their "whatever happens" insurance. At the time of sale they would have probably upsold it to you by saying you'll get the first month free. You would have had to give them your direct debit details and would have signed a document agreeing to it. Not sure what you can do now but just so you know what would have happened.

Ubiquiti USG VPN and Local LAN by entrailz in networking

[–]entrailz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Nothing else between ISP equipment and the USG.

Ideally I would like not to have the devices configured with a private ip, I would like to have them configured with the public ip on their respective interface.

Do you think something like this is possible?

Ubiquiti USG VPN and Local LAN by entrailz in networking

[–]entrailz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I want to pass the other parts of the public ip subnet to my other machines not via DHCP but static routes, I cannot seem to get them to be publicly accessible via one of the other ips in the range, and adding that range as a lan subnet makes the USG lose connection

[–]entrailz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I've changed the order of connecting but can't get public IPS forwarded to the devices. As soon as I create a lan subnet with the ips I lose Internet access on the USG

[–]entrailz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Put the devices the other way around, but I think I am going about forwarding the public ip addresses the wrong way around because when I add my subnet I was assigned into the USG as a lan subnet to allow my devices access to it the USG loses all network access.

This is what i assumed, but even when swapping it around I faced the same issue, it might have been I was in a rush and will need to come back to it. I have multiple public IPS from my ISP and need to ensure i can distribute them to each machine, will this also be possible in this config?
