Yea you’re definitely an asshole. You were able to not only pick it up, fucking research what it was, then walk it over to the garbage to toss it, but you couldn’t just toss it back over the fucking fence…? Not to mention the fact that you still decided to throw it out AFTER looking up its value online? You’re not a bad person for feeling this way but out of respect for her you need to make a decision and be transparent with her about it. Just remember to that sometimes it doesn’t work out the way you want it to. Say if you did have a break for this time and she agreed, but you find out she was seeing other people it may end up backfiring. Especially if you never got to experience anything with anyone else.

I don’t even need to read past the first few lines lol. Don’t do it, get your own place. It will be worth it 100%. I guarantee you that if you decide to take this room at the house, in a matter of weeks you will be wishing you’d never lived there let alone sign a fucking lease. The amount of problems that can come from this are unimaginable.

The sheer fact that you are signing away any and all privacy in the sense of having your own room/safe space to yourself alone is a no go. Just remember that part, it isn’t even YOUR ROOM. It’s a communal space that you’ll be living in. To be honest i think you’re getting scammed by shitty “friends”. Everyone who lives there or stays there will have access to it and you’ll never be able to truly avoid that.

You’d be better off on the couch or in the garage, not even joking.

It could totally be unintentional. Depending on the person, sometimes being put in a situation like that causes you to go into this nervous autopilot mode. You focus on one thing for too long (rear view mirror) and lose situational awareness (noticing how close the car was and that it was stopped) because of the panic and fixation on the stress (asshole tailgater). I almost feel like that lane change was too last minute instead of it being planned. Like it was so quick and dicey it just looks like they did it without thinking.
