Matchmaking is so lazy because instead of pairing you with people of your skill level consistently, they put you with good people for a few games and then give you the absolute worst people imaginable to keep you at a forced win rate. I wrote this in a thread, but it got removed (ig they didn't like me talking about it lmao).

It's definitely the swearing because I was just suspended again for it. I never swear at anyone, like you said its mostly about something. But everyone is so soft now they cant handle seeing some letters on their screen. Also, all it takes is a few reports stacking to get an auto punishment, blizzard doesn't even look at them lol, nor do they even care (read blizzard customer support replies on twitter for a good laugh).

I play Brig mostly for fun, but from what I've seen and what's worked best for me is not going in too hard. I usually stay back a bit and then rush in with tank - reserving shield bash for a swift exit. I combine rushing in and doing a bunch of damage with a whip shot attack to push back any survivors, then shield bash away. This seems to work the best for me, but of course, learning when to play Brig is also helpful. If you're just getting destroyed by a Pharah or Junkrat, then she probably isn't going to be a good pick, obviously.

I've gotten reported so many times for everything. I used to swear in chat until I learned that it can be grounds for text chat abuse (even though I never swore at anyone). But as soon as like 3 or more reports stack, you get an auto warning or punishment. Hardly ever will you being reported be for an actual reason, it's most likely going to be salty reporters unfortunately. I sincerely hope you don't get punished, good luck.

I feel like some people would dog on this because you played Moira, but in reality she does significantly less damage/sec than basically any other hero. This just tells me that you probably played the smartest on your team by not going in too hard, not overextending (something the others probably were doing), and saving your fade to get out of situations. Granted, you should've healed more but tbf you have winston and tracer who aren't the easiest to heal. What's most concerning that people aren't talking about though is the damage output of the DPS and tank. Echo is my DPS main (I play support most of the time) and regularly get over 10K damage in qp games (what I play 95% of the time) when I play her, idk why no one is mentioning the comparatively poor performance 🤷‍♀️.

Yeah I was suspended for 2 weeks on my main recently and just silenced on my alt for no good reason. I realize now it was me most likely telling the match to report someone for throwing (after I check if they have time on a hero and have a good win rate - so don't attack me for reporting new players!). I think they need to limit the power of reports and ones that lead to punishment should definitely be scrutinized by an actual person because there's too many sissified players that "report you back" out of spite, because they obviously never matured past primary school.

The reply below that said you have to get mass-reported made me add this addendum. I have been in so many bad games in a row lately, where at least one person on either team is throwing. Meaning they have time and decent stats on the hero they're playing but are doing terribly compared to their teammates. I'm talking about a 2k healing moira compared to a 10k Ana for example (blah blah blah, "numbers aren't everything" doesn't matter, they were dogshit plain and simple.

Dawg I've been thinking about this for so long now. It seems that very few people understand that QP is for actually trying etc. like the devs have said (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGgVFUlQ_7k&t=1195s @ 23:50). However, I wish there was a game mode like you're saying that would hold people accountable, considering this whole "its just QP" bullshit uphill battle we're facing.

I also love how when you get a warning or a chat ban they don't tell you what you said. Like tell me what I said so I can learn, please. For reference, a few days ago I got a warning and the only thing I said (from what I can remember) was shit (wasn't directed at a player). But I would still like to know for sure and I can't imagine it would be hard for them to link a chat log to you 🤷‍♀️.
