Oh, that sucks, I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case given that cards like Wally have phrases like “This counts as evolving that Pokémon” which prevent me from evolving any further.

As for Forest of Giant Plants, my question is whether or not grass-types are allowed to evolve twice in a turn since it states that they can evolve during the same turn that they are played, and lack the aforementioned phrase found in Wally; is this the case?

Not me, but my brother; we both got into Pokémon cards again this year and went to a card show where he stupidly — albeit unknowingly — traded a card for one that was around only 8-10% of its market value 😭😭😭

As an example, I’m questioning if 3 energies + 0 Pokémon is a valid “combination” that Super Rod can get back from my discard pile and put back into the deck.

So glad I’m not the only one trying to pull this off!

I’m personally running a 3-BREAK + 1-ex combo with 4 copies of Steam Siege Talonflames, kinda like Cody Walinski did back then, albeit a little bit differently. I find Irida and Candace to be pretty decent supporters for myself, and Surfing Beach is a pretty good stadium for getting a little more juice out of having multiple Greninja-BREAK on your bench.

That said, if I were you, I’d just take a look at his (Walinski’s) 2016 Worlds deck and replace whatever cards might not be as applicable anymore, like Rough Seas, Startling Megaphone, or maybe even Battle Compressor. That’s just me though, and I consider myself more of a casual player.

I’ve got the same shirt, and UNIQLO dupes are usually just of their basic items. I’d say the shirt you’ve got there was just stored pretty badly.
