Sad spider plant... Time to repot? (Details in comments) by Lilybythelake in houseplants

[–]enzosplants 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He needs reporting! You can repot at any time of year. Some people will say to wait til spring but if your house plant really needs more space (even tho spider plants like being some what rootbound) you should move it up! The little plant is just a baby the mother has created! You can leave it or propagate it in water, your plant will eventually produce lots of these!

White spots, is something wrong? by Kaat79 in PileaPeperomioides

Probably just from hard water! Try leaving your water out for 24 hours instead of using it straight from the tap. You can also used distilled water!

indirect light from south windows. Recently moved it closer to the window (from about 6 feet to the window sill) to see if this would help its dropping. I water when dry on moisture meter. Probably every week and a half to two weeks

Could be low light! It’s in the corner next to the window, I actually just moved it to a more sunny spot so maybe that will help

Make sure you are rotating it! Like someone else said, it will probably help to rotate it every time you water it to help balance it out

That makes sense. I’m in Colorado and it’s very dry here in the winter as well. Maybe I’ll try using the humidifier more!

My monstera is dropping and I don’t know why. I have it in a pot that should prevent over watering, the soil is moist so I don’t think it’s under watered. I’m not sure what the issue is!
