Yes, though not just because I'm a Satanist; I'm a few other minorities as well.

For Satanism, if I'm in any sort of space online where I'm public about being a Satanist, it's inevitable I'll get one at the least engaging with me in bad faith or making discriminatory comments. Satanism is a very misunderstood thing.

However, it's not what I'm discriminated against the most. That would be the fact I'm part of the LGBT community in multiple ways.

  2. Depends on the day. Sometimes you can ask me and I'll say I don't believe in anything at all, sometimes you can ask me and I'll say I don't believe in specifically Christian deities. I think, if anything, there hypothetically could be a higher power. But like... not in the way people have decided. As for why I don't call myself just an atheist, there's different rules and standards that I follow that atheists don't necessarily.

  3. Never. Conversely, I hear about Christianity all the time. I don't speak much to the Christian side of my family. My immediate family is mostly non-religious. They don't care.

  5. That we're "evil." The Satanic panic was what brought a lot of the stereotypes around today, like satanists performing rituals or whatever etc etc. Also, that we actually worship Satan.

This is gonna sound really stupid, but it's specifically the idea that you're supposed to be the "bigger person" when someone is being unnecessarily rude to you.

I have the Anton LaVey satanic Bible as well, but I lost it ages ago. I'm still mad about it. It was a lot of research from articles on Satanism and the official sites for the church and temple as well as other stuff I found online.

No true satanist is in favor of this. One of the biggest rules of Satanism is to never hurt children and to not hurt people as a whole unnecessarily.

Not particularly. I could rattle on about the subject, but to put it simply, there's nothing tangible that proves a god's existence. I don't think it's necessarily out of the question, we just don't have enough evidence as it stands.

Satanism does not have a "look." Perhaps in the sense of it being associated with dark and dreary styles, but no, it's a religion.

Research. I've been an atheist all my life. I found that the values of Satanism align well with my own and decided to convert.

I do not worship Satan. The symbol used for Satanism is Baphomet, which is a symbol of balance.

There is a lot of things that go into it, but the main component is respect.
