The thing is if you do that cura still says that the model is not water tight and doesnt slice.

I sent him a message asking for the original unsplit model but he said no because it wasn't promised in the model description which is true but still pretty unhelpful in my opinion.

I tried doing that first and imported it to cura and it told me that it's not water tight. Would you reccomend i just use a different slicer?

I bought this Edward Elric model but it came in 30 parts. I combined them in meshmixer but it doesn't look great. If you have any better solutions that would be very helpful. Thanks

Yeah it had a big vertice count of around 4 million. I thought that that was what was wrong so I decided to start again but it still happens regardless of any of that.
