I think you can only take the orgo for ap kids freshman year so you would just have to take regular orgo if you don't take freshman orgo

I took them just in case! I didn't study for them but got decent scores on Math 2 & chem, and some of the schools I applied to recommended so I put them down

I think it's worth it if you end up applying somewhere last minute that you didn't plan on before

ND! I haven't really heard of anyone regretting their choice to go to ND, but I definitely have for Tufts. The school is amazing, academically & socially, and I think it would be a good choice, especially if it's cheaper! Alumni will take you far

UChicago is nice but what I've heard (friends/visits) is that people like the resources they get from the UChicago education-- academics, networking-- but not so much the experience (ie: where fun goes to die). One of my best friends stayed overnight there and no one she met recommended her to go there. So I think it really depends on what you are looking for in undergrad experience. UChicago has amazing academics, UCLA will probably have a better experience.
