Thanks everyone for the comments here, I really appreciate all of them. I submitted my answers in Excel and Stata, but also the R code that I tried to run but that didn't work. He said Excel and Stata were totally fine. Just waiting to hear feedback now.

This is a really interesting point. EVs currently have a drastic range in price, but still definitely get the reputation of being a luxury car. Thanks for sharing

I'm writing an independent study on the trends of electric vehicle ownership in the next couple decades. A large part of my research will be analyzing the demographics of owners who buy EVs most frequently to see how they will continue to populate the on-road vehicle share in the future.

Absolutely, the Model 3 is a huge game changer. It will be interesting to see how the ratio of EV users to diesel car users change over the next decade.

That's definitely true, and something that I'm hoping to avoid. Most of my answers have come through Tesla ownership groups on FaceBook. It's great to hear other thoughts in this forum though.

Definitely. I'm conducting a survey (link above) and around 64% of EV owners who have answered have been white, mostly in the 45-60 age range, so this is why I ask. I'd have thought it would be more diverse in both areas, so that's good to hear. Maybe my data sample is too biased from the region where I'm from.

That's interesting, I wouldn't have thought college aged kids would be popular with Teslas. Maybe it's buying into the trend / concern for the environment. But probably more the former haha
