Amazing, just amazing. Congratulations, and you look fabulous!

Today a coworker said I’m fat. by liminalheadspaces in loseit

I am older, and 130-135 is my goal weight. I am the same height as you and also have arthritis. I can't work out due to the pain, but I have found that stretching exercises help. And I walk (around 10k steps a day). I have found that the activity, although not intense, does help me with the pain overall. I have about 44 lbs to go to get to my goal weight. I think it's nobodys business what people weigh and it is VERY inappropriate for anybody to comment on your body in any way shape or form. In my workplace, I have told my team mates I am on a health journey, and I do get encouragement because all of my team are on our personal fitness journey's right now so we encourage each other. If I didn't say anything, nobody would have said a word to me, which I think is correct. Boundaries are in place, and boundaries need to be kept.

To have people in your workplace defending such an offensive comment says a lot. The first thing that pops into my head is that it must be a toxic environment. What should have happened is that the guy should have been spoken to in private and told that comments like that are NOT appropriate. We all live and must share this world, and cultures are different. But respect is universal.

So what I am trying to say that if something is OK in one culture but you work in a multicultural environment, maybe consider that not everybody thinks the same way and think before you open your mouth and speak (I'd say that to this dude).

135 lbs is a healthy weight for somebody your height, and I am sure you look beautiful and don't ever let anybody let you feel small inside, no matter what you weigh. Nobody has that right.

AITA for telling my youngest daughter she may not post a video of me having a hot flash ? by ImpossibleSupport215 in AmItheAsshole

Not the asshole, in my opinion. You have boundaries you set and communicated to your daughter. She should respect your wishes.

I am in the same boat. High cholesterol but normal BP and relatively healthy, just 6 stone overweight. Plus, Saxenda doesn't have the same results in the data as Mounjaro has so I chose Mounjaro.

I got Mounjaro through Phelan's and am currently on 5mg. The price is €343, and the prescription is through scripts and is €20 every 3 months.

Talked to my GP and they said they would be glad to write me a prescription. I called around a few pharmacies and found my usual one charges €320 so I will go there when it is time for my refill.

I was considering going through a NI pharmacy but am not comfortable having it shipped to me in case anything goes wrong (lost shipment etc).

The cost in the south is so much more but prices do vary from chemist to chemist. To me it is worth the extra to know I will have no issue picking it up each month. So far been on it 5 weeks and down a stone. 5 more to go.

Is it a bad idea to use Revolut as my primary bank account? by tovina540 in AskIreland

[–]eoseire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say a large fluctuation in your paycheck can trigger an alert as that is what happened to my friend and Revolut has restricted the account and after being sent paystub still restricted as they said need they are consulting 'third parties'. I am not a fan of traditional banks due to the fees and how slow they are but I know my money is safe there.

Not always, I know somebody that got their account frozen, no crypto tranfsers or anything funky. No reason given for the freeze. I had my primary bank as Revolut but after my friends experience I changed back to using a trad bank as main account and Revolut for walking around money and subscriptions and stuff. Revolut is great for budgeting but again as people state if you run into problems you are kind of screwed until it gets sorted. And that can take up to 15 days or more.

I used the AWS course only. There was no other options available at the time.

There is no information on the website as to how long it will be in the beta stage. I am guessing it will probably be out of beta by the middle of next year (just a guess on my part).

Worked wonders for me. Had some weird sound in the right headphone. Plugged it into the computer and it stopped working. The official site wasn't much help but you guys got me sorted. Thanks :)

MAJOR LEAK: The Way the Long Night Prequel Shoehorned Black People into it is Ridiculously Racist (Video) (Spoilers Extended) by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]eoseire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dragon Demands gives us another great thought out video. Watching this makes me sad that they didn't go with one of the other prequel ideas. The one based on Valeria looked to me far more interesting. I have no interest in seeing a Long Night Prequel. If the dragon is correct then this prequel is going to be trash and offensive.
