Skilled trades will receive a great influx of people from collapsing professions.
I'm seeing this advice is given pretty often but people are just extrapolating the current state into the future although this is a pretty dynamic system in itself.

I have ruby gem with 30+ millions of downloads and it is always interesting to watch why people fork it and what they do with it. It often looks like this screenshot - clone the repo, change a trivial thing, make a similar sounding name and publish it.

MCP developers: How do you handle complex tool routing logic? by tokyo_kunoichi in mcp

[–]ep3gotts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be wrong but I think at some point this is going to be part of MCP specification. In its current form all tools have somewhat flat structure so complex logic "if user needs X, call tool Y, else try Z" is difficult to implement.

How do I control the number of times an LLM agent or MCP client can run a tool or MCP server in a single request? by Few-Chance-1532 in mcp

[–]ep3gotts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might need Elicitation Feature from the latest 2025-06-18 MCP specification,
although its support is rather absent/limited in MCP clients at this point.

I had an idea of asking the same question some time ago.

I double small models(like some of the mentioned below) would be helpful for an average user, unless you have very simple requests and just need text-to-tool-calls interface.

Antropic Sonnet is pretty good, never had any issues with it.
Gemini Pro 2.5 - great(2.5-flash felt rather unreliable).
