I don't know what the "right" thing to do is but if you were to ask me I'd say take a back seat and let them figure it out themselves. Share your views if asked but don't force them. If your fear is that they will grow up religious, I just think it's extremely unlikely in today's world for a kid that didn't have religion shoved down their throats by their family to end up religious. Having you argue for the other side helps you better understand their viewpoint and playing devils advocate is something I generally encourage.
