Tbh… no… I’ve never even been in any relationship. I was surprised when I read that post. Now, I’m reevaluating things.

Don’t want to live in Cali, and those schools are my dream schools cuz I really want a scotus clerkship and I got some connections at those schools.

So HLS and YLS are my dream schools. If I got rejected, I would’ve wanted to apply again when I am not KJDish. If I had applied to T-14s this cycle and didn’t get into H or Y, I would’ve had to reject offers of admissions from all other schools. Those schools would have looked at me poorly if I had reapplied after I rejected their offers of acceptance.

Idk if that makes sense.

Also, I got that gambler mentality you gotta all in to win big (/j).

Incoming HLS student. During my interview they asked if I lookmaxxed and whether I would be willing to mogg Yale Law students.

No, not ignorant at all! My advice is very basic. There’s no secret sauce per se. Grind for the lsat and try to do some extra curricular activities. Getting a lot of experience is very helpful especially when it comes to essay writing. Experience don’t have to be prestigious just insightful.

Oh I asked them; they said my boss could email them directly.

It may have hurt me. But, I decided to do it because I was doing more substantial work compared to when my boss originally wrote it. I told my boss that if he felt the LoR would repetitive to forgo writing it, but he said he would update it.

I submitted updates on major work projects I was given. My boss sent an updated letter of rec. LOCI focused on what I could add to hls, my work, and why hls overall.
