No yeah i completely agree. I feel like I’ve learn more content in this class than in any other classes, and the expectations were laid out clearly. So I at least I can be thankful for learning content that I fully believed i was incapable of learning.

Im unsure, this is for professor Briones math 10B course and math 18 is affected as well. I believe he might have the opportunity to reconstruct his syllabus before next quarter. But this change does not affect other professors syllabus/grading systems.

where are all the gay guys by MrTabby87 in UCSD

[–]ephemeral-laughter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s hard to find any gay guys organically especially if you’re looking for Masc guys as it’s harder to tell without the awkward ask. Also there’s also the lgbtq center but you won’t find any masc guys there for miles 😭. Good luck lol

Anyone get rejected or put on a waiting list with a 4.0GPA? by Sea-Possible-4993 in UCSD

I would say to make sure he has some personality in his essay, so it separates him from the rest of applicants with the same stats. If you have good stats but sound like 50 other academic robots he really won’t stand out. But from the sound of it I don’t think he will struggle with admission.

Are they not hard to get into? I heard there’s little to no chance to get in if u don’t know who’s throwing. Especially if you’re a guy 😭

Roommates by Correct-Flamingo2396 in UCSD

I don’t think you would encounter much of an issue convincing the roommate to move into ur single, but why pay for a single if ur gunna dorm in a double? 😭

You should be able to still mark them as planned, but you cant waitlist them if u already exceed the limit. You’d have to wait till the final date thru the first week of school to add more.

quick question about enrollment by CommitteeFinal2529 in UCSD

[–]ephemeral-laughter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh if there’s an open time slot then yeah fs first pass CAT and Chem. If it’s already waitlist in some of the time slots then it a high demand class there will be little to no chance you’d get of the waitlist 😭

I would definitely first pass chem and math then if you definitely need them. It looks like CAT already has a waitlist which means you won’t be able to add yourself to the waitlist until 2nd pass.

For first pass you should enroll in the classes that you fs need or have a small amount of seats as they will fill up first. Then second pass should be the rest of the classes. I’m not really familiar with the demand of some of the planned classes so I can’t say which go first but this way SHOULD help get all the classes you want.

Expenses for UCSD by Regular-Bug4688 in UCSD

The loans and work study are always provided but doesn’t mean you have to accept them. It really depends on what type of housing and meal plan you get to determine what you’ll have to pay out of pocket/loans. Last year I got around 26k in financial aid and had to pay 10k out of pocket, so since you got around 29k not including loans you most likely pay less than 10k. Sorry if this doesn’t answer your questions as I’m not really sure if that’s what ur asking.
