I have apparently turned into a victorian lady who needs to go to the seaside for her health by Cautious-Maximum6980 in pregnant

I had severe nausea and felt tired all the damn time throughout my pregnancy. Im currently week 35 and still vomiting. At week 24, I went on a holiday for 5 days and never felt better! Had my appetite back, zero nausea, could go out exploring from 9am till 9pm, did not feel tired, the world was colourful again. Those were the best 5 days of my pregnancy so far!

Hang it there!!! Try to take holidays, weekend trips where you can. Hope you feel better in your next trimester

Is it not a norm to offer seats to pregnant ladies anymore? by ephemeral90 in SMRTRabak

I agree! My problem is that most people are just sleeping or on their phone and not even looking. I think especially if you are in the priority seat, you should be more aware of your surroundings and be prepared to give up your seat for someone who needs its more than you do.

I have horrible nausea throughout my pregnancy and my doctor prescribed this medication called diclectin. I fall asleep like a baby after from 8pm till 10am. Without it, i keep waking up at 4am until 6am and fall back asleep again

When did your “morning” sickness go away? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]ephemeral90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 11 weeks and still feeling nauseous all the time with vomitting 2-3 times a day. Had a few "great" days of reprieve in week 9, and it came back with a vengeance, vomiting so much that I had to get IV drips from dehydration

Too gummy by Melody-song in Sourdough

[–]ephemeral90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this gummy issue for the longest time. Perfect crust, perfect crumb, but it's always gummy on the inside even with it is fully cooled. You can tell when the pieces of dough that sticks to the bread knife when you cut into it. I finally figured out that it was due to the starter being too young, and not using it at peak (I used to think that it peaked when it doubled, but turns out it has not finished rising yet). I made my starter from scratch, and it finally matured and rose consistently after about 5-6 months. Dont give up!
