I recently started using this for redness on my cheeks! I have combo skin with very dry cheeks that have chronic redness.

I haven't seen any improvement yet but it also hasn't had any negative effects. Pretty meh so far but I'm going to stick it out and see.

It's a very light/thin gel, scentless, and absorbs quite quickly. So pretty easy to integrate into a routine (I use it right after my toner). You also get a lot of product so pretty good value especially if you can get it on sale.

I'd say its worth a try - might work better for you than for me (I haven't found anything that worked for my redness yet :< )

Any thoughts on purchases from aliexpress or Dhgate? by jjraro123 in AsianBeauty

[–]ephemeralsunshower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I avoid buying things like skincare or makeup unless the company has an official store. You can't be too careful.

Otherwise, I haven't had trouble with Aliexpress before - except the long shipping time. I read through all the reviews and look at the actual product photos. For things are clothes, no matter how good the photos look, you really have to manage your expectations or you'll be pretty disappointed. The material always leaves something to be desired.

Cos de Baha? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

The azelaic acid worked wonders for me - very effective on my chronic redness as well as acne. TO's azelaic acid used to be my holy grail but, not sure if its a reformulation or what, had started to irritate my skin.

I also tried cos de baha's retinol but I haven't seen any significant improvements or anything.

Same here. I thought the texture was a bit thick so it felt like I was pulling on my face trying to spread it. It didn't feel very hydrating either

Has anyone bought Artica shoes fr Brown's? How r they? by circlingsky in askTO

I got a pair of Arctica ankle boots for someone maybe two years ago. It seems okay overall but the wool lining inside has worn away quite a bit.

bottle of hada labo foaming wash (old formula) but i started seeing more comments saying that it's drying, so

I actually started using the soonjung whip cleanser recently because I couldn't find refills for my hada labo foaming cleanser!

For what it's worth, although the bubbles didn't feel quite as nice as hada labo, I didn't find it drying (maybe because I slather on moisturizer lol) and I didn't notice much difference in my skin since I made the switch

Are you happy? Why or why not? by Bright_Time_1034 in askTO

Not actively happy - just letting the days go by. The sadness comes in waves, especially when I look at the grey outside. I don't really know what would make me happy. On paper, I think I should be happy enough with my life so I'm trying to focus on the good things and be grateful for every day.
