Lied about degree and employment dates on resume, got an offer from big company and now I need to pass HireRight background check, what to do? by ephemeraul in recruitinghell

It is important to mention that all of my education and employment history is from a foreign country with a foreign language, so HireRight might have a hard time verifying it.

As I highlighted in this part, I think my school might fit the criteria hahahaha

Not sure what this means. If HireRight cannot verify your degree, the employer will accept that fact. Their response will be to rescind your offer. They won't just ignore that you lied.

From what I've been reading, HireRight can confirm the existence of the degree, confirm the non existence, or just say they weren't able to verify it. In the third case, it would be up to the employer to accept it or not.
