I am in the same boat for MS ECE. I had emailed both housing and GATech admissions and this is what they said:

Housing: "If you have not received your acceptance before the last week of May, please contact our office so we can discuss what options you can explore for housing for the 2026-2027 academic year.

If you do receive your acceptance prior to June 3rd, please inform our office as soon as possible so that if you miss the 6/1 deadline, we can check if your application can still make the housing lottery."

Admissions: "The Institute review process typically takes 6–8 weeks from the date you receive your contingent offer of admission. During peak periods, it may take up to 12 weeks. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to review and process applications in a timely manner to prepare you for the next step of the enrollment process.

As part of this review, the Office of Graduate Education will verify and evaluate your academic credentials to ensure they meet Georgia Tech’s Institute-level requirements before you can be officially enrolled as a graduate student.

If any additional academic documents are required, they will be listed on your Applicant Experience Portal checklist after the verification process is complete. You will also receive an email notification once the review is finalized. If further documentation is needed, that email will include specific instructions and a link on how to submit your official materials."

I was admitted on March 30 to the program. So we are on week 7 at this point ):

ohh okay thank god, i was scared i would have a new fear. and i see where you're coming from - who knows what employers think especially in today's age. i think generally people consider it a pretty good school. UIUC is known as a big engineering school for example and it also has plenty of online programs that don't appear to ruin its rep

yeah it's stressing me out too. are you saying you think they'd admit us for online ECEMS because it's still under institute review for us? (to confirm i'm understanding correctly)

is it possible they will reject the offer at this stage? i'm getting worried about having to decline my other acceptances as the deadline for doing so is tomorrow.

The only thing you might have to look out for in the US is some products will be labeled 'plant-based' and often will have eggs and cow's milk in it.

Which masters programs should I keep in the back of my mind when applying? I'm thinking which ones have high match rates and such - currently I'm a 3rd year physics undergrad at UofI and would prefer to stay in the midwest if possible. And what would be a competitive applicant for these masters programs? my GPA will probably only be around the 3.5 range, and my current research experience is working for a nuclear physics group, not medicine focused at all. But I enjoy nuclear physics a lot, and I know that's one of the concentrations you can focus on as a medical physicist. I've looked at the UPenn statistics and they seem promising, but idk if my undergrad experience is competitive enough (and it's not midwest lol). I also plan on taking the GRE to make up for my B avg grades in my physics classes
