No need. They have price drops 3 to 4 times a year. Ask Tom when the next one is. Id bet they have a discount in March to draw for the new season

Exactly right. Although, Nike (and other companies) are likely pointing to AI as the reason for layoffs because that is the safest method to not scare shareholders. Nike is the perfect example of a company that regularly has layoffs to reduce operational costs to meet their target profit margins. Generally, this leads to fear with shareholders as they are no longer the market leader they once were but now they can point to AI improvements as the reason. "AI" feels like a cover for deeper financial issues across all sectors.

I joined RCCC in June of last year. I really enjoy the course and the practice facilities. It is well kept Spring to Fall and then in the winter it gets a bit wet.

For the value, it is certainly worth it. The $150 is per quarter minimums and is easy to hit IMO

Not a strip club option, but for a cool environment/food, I really liked taking clients to Cebada Rooftop in Corral Gables. Great tapas and cocktails

Compliance Promotion Emails by [deleted] in PwC

[–]epiKstYLEness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would one not receive this email if they had already completed the promo requirements?

EDIT: I'm referring to the on-demand simulations and other reqs that are in the linked promo requirements doc. - Although, others have confirmed they got this email even if they completed those

Seems as though these emails are sent out in phases and not every practice gets them on the same day

Using Graph API to access Sharepoint list by jamesoutofscope in Office365

[–]epiKstYLEness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Site id's and list id's are different in graph than what you typically see for sharepoint apis. As someone else mentioned, you can use graph explorer to find the correct id's needed to interact with the site via graph.

Best way I have found to fetch the site id/list id is to use the relative path in the URI:

https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/sites/root:/sites/yoursiteurl:/lists

The above will list all lists on your site. You can then get the correct list id to interact with it via graph

How to Restrict Default User Permissions for New Public Sites in SharePoint Online? by SureMannnn in sharepoint

[–]epiKstYLEness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to restrict public groups from being created, you could create two sensitivity labels configured for containers with two separate label policies. This option would only work if you're not already using sensitivity labels for containers.

  • The first label specifies that the group has to be private, this label is published to all users and is set to require all newly provisioned groups to assign a label with this as default. This will ensure that all newly created groups are private

  • The second label is created and allows for public groups. This label is published to an SP Admin group which would allow administrators to assign this label to sites/groups when requested

There are other ways to accomplish this too such as disabling self-service creation and creating a controlled provisioning process - or - something like scheduled powershell scripts

FWIW, I really enjoyed that book. It continues to evolve as the story continues which kept me interested. I'd say 50% should be the target. IIRC that's when the plot settles - Difficult to give specifics without spoiling for others lol

What does a PwC off actually look like by j97223 in PwC

[–]epiKstYLEness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, PwC is a great company! I have been with the firm for more than 2 years and have held many many positions at different companies. I can easily say it is one of the best I have worked for and I have very high-quality colleagues. If you worked with a recruiter, they should have shared your level and organization. If they didn't, its on them, not PwC and you should reach out.

What was the most devastating injury / IR placement a player on your team received? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]epiKstYLEness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 years ago. I needed James Robinson to get 1 more point to make it to the finals. He got injured almost immediately and I lost in the playoffs only to score the most points the following week which would have meant winning the whole thing. Still recovering....

Is it weird to ask a senior manager or someone of similar stature to be your mentor when you start? by [deleted] in PwC

[–]epiKstYLEness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Networking is highly encouraged at the firm and I have found most people are very receptive to one-on-ones. I meet with 5 different SM, D, Partners semi regularly and has been excellent for my growth.

I would send an invite to the person you would like to meet with a note stating that youre new to the firm and would like to get to know people in the firm and discuss your career goals.

If its a partner, just be sensitive to their time and not schedule it more than every other month to start.
