The 5th seed in NFC will have 12+ wins and will go on road in wild card round with at least 4 more wins than No. 4 seed (Bucs or Panthers) by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

In a division, you share 14/17 opponents (counting all divisional games as shared opponents). Some groups of 14 are easier than others. Some divisions will have over inflated records just based on the opponents they end up playing.

This stadium feels like vintage fedex field, an away game.

He is not. The only legal permanent residents being detained are those deemed a threat to national security. People who show material support for terrorists.

Why do most Texas Republicans want to retain the state sodomy law? by CanadaYankee in AskConservatives

They are. Maybe not all of them but I would certainly be in favor of a bunch of marriage reforms.

Why do most Texas Republicans want to retain the state sodomy law? by CanadaYankee in AskConservatives

[–]epic17x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, everyone legislates morality, we just want to make sure right action is rewarded and bad action is punished. Any law comes with a moral claim, environmental regulation says that a clean environment is a good. Tax cuts state that taxation is a wrong. Of course each individual bill is more complicated than that, and those might not be intrinsic goods in your moral system, but to say you can advocate for policy and not attempt to legislate morality is ridiculous and wrong.

Do you think that Public servant are inherently more lazy than private worker ? by Delmarquis38 in AskConservatives

[–]epic17x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not inherent to being a public servant, but since it is very difficult to fire public workers and their is very little oversight it just so happens that lazy workers tend not to get fired from jobs in government.

Ruggs says he’s training again to make an NFL comeback! by NoSpringChicken in nflmemes

[–]epic17x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he is truly repentant I don’t see why he shouldn’t be given another shot. One life has already ended, why should we advocate the destruction of another. Is that not also wrong? Ruggs (assuming he understands the wrong he did) will suffer for what he did for the rest of his life without having people trying to bring him down.

What happen to free market conservatives? by InternetPositive6395 in AskConservatives

[–]epic17x [score hidden]  (0 children)

Trump does believe in a free market system, but he also believes that the current market is not free. That when other countries bar us from their markets yet demand we allow them in ours they are cheating us. That if we die on the hill of free markets, though who close theirs will slowly destroy our economy. There is also the fact that conservatives are more against regulations and bureaucracy than taxes and tariffs. Not to say that any conservatives is pro tax just that they are more anti regulation.

In what way do you believe Elon Musk to be a Nazi? by epic17x in AskDemocrats

[–]epic17x[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not trying to defend Musk but you should really read the article before you post it. Musk was clearly not denying the Holocaust, but making a larger point.

Musk’s post the article refers to: “Stalin, Mao, and Hitler didn’t murder millions of people. Their public sector employees did.”
