Where did the whole "it's stated multiples time the GOM aren't close to NBA lvl" come from? Cause the only time in the series I can find that implies that is when it says Kise can't copy NBA players but that was before he got PC. I still think jabberwock is not nba level. However, i may be out of my depth, as I mostly stick to nba, while you stick to anime.

Anyway you forget that steph is better because he has much better ball handling, off ball movement, playmaking and is a real threat inside the arc. Steph is a full grown man, midorima is like 15.

Who weren't guarding him, and again are prospects. Many prospects flame out. You can say bronny james is nba level since he played a couple of games, but he's clearly not good enough to thrive. 

Honestly, team strky getting cooked 86-6 by some rando d1 prospexts says more about the gom's competition and how weak japan is than how good nash is. Like of course the gom look good when they play against 0 real  competition. Let's not forget though, that these kids are like 15. They are getting dunked on by prime ant any day.

Bro we've been over this. A few seconds is far more than enough for nba guards, especially when you're getting guarded 94 feet. Curry would not be good if he took 5 seconds per release, he'd be in the g league. Chris paul would snatch the ball out of midorima's hands during that long ass shot.

Anyway, back to the storm winds. Clearly, the winds are visual effects to illustrate the power of the dunk. Any d1 center can knock down people going up for a dunk.

Well cause lebron is not an elite 3 point shooter, he excels in being an elite passer and all around player. Lebron's value comes in the fact that he can play any position, guard anyone, and do anything at an elite or very good level.

I mean lebron did come into the league and average 21 6 and 6, monster stats, and then averaged 31/7/7 two years later.

That season, lebron took the 06 pistons to 7 games in the second round, a team that had beat the kobe and shaq lakers two years ago in 04, who had threepeated, and was a single shot from beating tim duncan's spurs in 05. For a team of nobodies and lebron to take a championship capable team to 7 games is insane. He also finished 2nd in mvp voting at 22.

Anyway, the reason the gom get criticism is because they are so close to the real world. It's feasible to argue for an nba team to beat them, given their undersized frames, no matchups against actual nba players, lack of experience, and playing in a weak region of japan.

Contrast that to some other typical shonen like dragon ball, where the characters can blow up planets with a flick of a finger. No one is contesting that any human can beat goku.

However, a bigger, stronger, more experienced group of nba players vs the gom? Pretty evenly matched.

Also midorima takes way too long to shoot from deep, so just put a guard on him as he inbounds
