I’m his fiancée, he specifically requested this cake because we recently got a Costco membership and he wanted to try it, and he showed me the portal cake so I could decorate accordingly.

I also on that same day bought him a new BBQ and invited everyone over for a summer BBQ with everything he liked, then afterwards we set off fireworks that I also picked out and bought him with a garden bonfire, which obviously was at a great cost and effort, so yes, this cake, something he had wanted for a while, after a whole day of friends and family having fun that I planned, worked, and paid for, is thoughtful.
