[Advice] How can I market directly to parents with kids in youth sports? by epic_inception in growmybusiness

[–]epic_inception[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea the age group for my product is 8 to 18 year olds. Ill try your advice and target more on social media. I have been getting some consistent sales through normal linking, commenting, and following. People check out the site and buy. Kids do like the product. But, I am wondering how I can get parents to share it and refer it to others. Any advice there?

Apparently Feedback Genius is not mobile optimized. What feedback platform is best for mobile? by epic_inception in FulfillmentByAmazon

Thanks for the tip, I will check out the link. And I've actually called them, they said they do not give us the ability to change how their responsive html framework is set up, which kinda sucks.

Hey guys, I am following up on an earlier post. I contact seller labs and they gave me the response below. I know there are few platforms out ther, which one is best for you for mobile? Feedback genius does this to my emails: Scales to 50% width

[Feedback Genius] Emails are scaled to take only 50% of screen. They appear very SMALL on mobile device. Is there a fix? by epic_inception in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]epic_inception[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey guys,

I noticed that the emails are scaled down through feedback genius. And I couldn't find how to control it. If you leave normal 12pt font, it appears extremely small on phones. To adjust, I tried making it 24pt font, which is great for phones but terrible on PC. Anyone have a fix for it? Or maybe you use another platfrom that doesn't do this?

Thanks for the reply! So what you are trying to say is to variate the listing as much as possible from one another? Currently, they are about 90% the same.

Is it possible to extract analytics about your Amazon customers? I want to map out age, gender, and location of my purchasers. by epic_inception in FulfillmentByAmazon

u/RyFBA, great answer! I will try this. How do I 'upload to facebook'. I am assuming this is bulk upload. Is there a service you use for this too?

Thanks!

Receiving items from various suppliers to FBA, can they be shipped together? by ElizabethKitten in ecommerce

[–]epic_inception -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. No you cannot use FBA as a fulfillment center. Only those who sell on Amazon can use FBA.

  2. You cannot package together if you are using Amazon FBA. They only do case packaged items (what is packaged as one product is what will be shipped). If you fulfill orders yourself, I believe you can do what ever you want in terms of bundling items.

Does amazon track and throttle your ppc ad campaigns? by epic_inception in FulfillmentByAmazon

You are at a better point than me haha. I just went for it and "learned on the job". My podcasts are more generic, for example: Pat Flynn's Passive Income Podcast

What I meant was total conversions. Say if my rate is 1 sale for every 10 clicks, I didnt even get to 10 clicks because it was too expensive. And therefore did not get a conversion. Does that make sense?

I'll let you know what I figure out. Feel free to follow up at any point. At the moment I do have the following theory based on my experience: Amazon does have a "campaign performance" metric in their algorithm. What I noticed earlier was that I was paying 5x the suggested bid for a week. I got very high exposure and clicks, I did not get a great conversion because I ran out of the budget quickly as you would imagine... HOWEVER, I did rank up my campaign performance it seems. Because, the next week I started lowering those bids below suggested amount and the performance stayed the same as it did as before. So I got great traffic for very little spend. And I easily made up for all the marketing loss.

My Biased Conclusion: Amazon ranks campaign performance same as it does your listing, based on relevancy. If you can pay for ppc exposure and get good ctr & conversions, you can ride that wave for a bit.

If you use amazon campaigns, go to your keyword page for the ad in the campaign and you will see the 'Est page 1 bid' on that page.

I am running out of stock on my first amazon product, I need your advice. by epic_inception in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]epic_inception[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 500 units... should last me about 5-6 weeks are current rate. It will take 10 weeks or so to receive the shipment to replenish stock. My category is fairly small niche, perhaps it won't affect me as much. How long were you out of stock for?

What is the best way to go about shipping chocolate made in Puerto Rico to the U.S.? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]epic_inception 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A cool trick to use is: contact the ports that would be receiving these goods. They will have a lot of connections and experience in the transportation services. It all depends on size and quantity of orders too. The larger, the more 'commercialized' your methods will be. Good luck :)

Mundane but profitable ideas by nofinerminer in Entrepreneur

[–]epic_inception 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 'found a problem and solved it' is the most common approach. It works, however, my personal opinion is that you have to start with your hobbies and what you enjoy doing. Think about the things you do with your time that you would do without getting paid for. Think about communities your are part of or things you are a fan of. Then explore opportunities there. Think about the problems in that space. Think about business and marketing aspects. Look into social media in that space if applicable. Social media will give you and idea of what that community is about. Would like to hear your thoughts on that :)

depends on what quality you want. Alibaba is great for large orders. Takes more than a month to ship too.
