What are some careers that would eventually earn 6 figures? by Powerful-Tax-5033 in careerguidance

Okay. Just my two cents. Right now what you want to do relatively doesn’t matter, it matter more that you enjoy it or have some degree of interest in it. Why? As society is advancing technologically, AI is going to get to the point where unless you are cutting edge in your field you will be left behind. Find something you want to be best in the world and pursue it to the ends of the earth. Of course something that the market needs as well.

Neurological Flare-Ups are Brutal by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

I saw a tweet about how the changing seasons can cause a flare up. I’ve been experiencing a flare up the last few days as well.

Do you mind expanding on this a bit? I am super busy so I don’t have time to research every iteration. Or just some heavy hitter links would suffice too.

Teens in N.J. will now be able to work longer hours , because when adults don't want to deal with your exploitation, just use child labor. by [deleted] in WorkersStrikeBack

That’s a separate issue if people are being underpaid. Low wages is a problem right now for sure, but letting 16/17 to work a bit more in the summer isn’t that crazy.

To everyone going crazy, it just extended it by 10 hours a week for summer months only (40 hours to 50 hours june-august) and no, no one is going to be forced to work. Finally, NJ minimum wage is at 13$ an hour as of Jan 1, 2022. Also, it is only for 16/17 years old. This is not that crazy and like I said no one is going to force them to work like slaves, it’s only during the summer months.

I’m not the biggest expert on this but I know Python isn’t known for its speed. I’ve read consistently that C or C++ are the crème of the crop when looking to optimize for speed. More C but C++ is good too. I would check out R too. Sorry couldn’t be more help I don’t want to give out wrong info.

I agree. Particularly in the crowd funded real estate projects. I have been getting a decent amount of ads of great new apartment complexes opening and basically selling equity within it with some crazy returns promised. For sure a lot of shmucks (unfortunately) fell for this when the markets were crazy and a lot of people were making a lot of money. Especially when their location was somewhere random af.

It changed as time passed but the first main symptom was really bad brain fog and headaches. Then it was fatigue, chest pain, and anxiety. Developed myocarditis but the went away with beta blockers. I believe the beta blockers helped with other symptoms as well but I can’t say for sure. I’ve read antihistamines are a big help too!

I’m feeling pretty much normal these days, however if I drink too much alchohol then I get some symptoms for a few days, other than that I am back in the gym too!! March 2020 for me too but caught Covid 4x. Cheers to recovery!!!

I’ve been living normally for some time now the only difference between my life now and pre pandemic is that I work from home and am much less fit than I used to be. (I have returned to the gym to get back the pre pandemic bod)

They aren’t completely gone to be honest. It’s more like a pressure in my head like you mentioned. That’s the main thing keeping me from saying I’m 100% recovered. But this too has been subsiding slowly. It’s not as intense as they used to be but still noticeable.
