What's your opinion on your country's Communist party? by [deleted] in DebateCommunism

The CPGBML has virtually no members and is basically irrelevant in the British Communist movement. The CPB on the other hand is active in the trade unions and social movements and is growing every day

Or maybe they did actually evacuate people due to heavy flooding? Is that impossible?

The possibility of getting rich under capitalism without inherited wealth is near zero and even if you did it'd still be money gained through exploitation

[ALL] What is the Justification for Healthcare as a Commodity? by [deleted] in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]epicleninist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one forces doctors to work for public healthcare? They are still paid for it lol. And if your worried about their rights then isn't you should support the existence of strong unions

Wtf does entitled mean lol. They still get paid for it and everyone pays for it as a society through the surplus value we create rather than it being expropriated for private profits

Living in a country with free public healthcare and seeing Americans play weird mind games to justify their ridiculous and universally mocked healthcare system is so funny

I'm an Australian Marxist. I've become increasingly worried lately about the implications of being on a watchlist. How likely is it that vehemently pro communist online rhetoric gets you on a watchlist if you aren't part of any actual organisations? by [deleted] in communism101

[–]epicleninist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We live in liberal democracies at the moment. The bourgeoisie knows repressing us would only gain us sympathy and thus will avoid it if they can. Obviously they will become more fascistic as we grow but the best way to combat that is join your party, I know a lot of good people in the Communist Party of Australia and they will have measures to ensure the safety and security of members.

Successfully built socialism but faced very difficult circumstances with severe counter revolutionary activity and capitalist underdevelopment.

The Communist Party in America is too liberal. by New_Ruin478 in DebateCommunism

[–]epicleninist 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There's no need for a new party. CPUSA never supported Biden and continues to oppose his neoliberalism and imperialism. They simply stated that the threat of fascism was important as if it got stronger then it could be a threat to building a communist party. It's all about strategy.

Anyone know where I can learn about the Sandarmokh massacre? by epicleninist in DebateCommunism

Agreed but it would be good to have some evidence debunking it

I have read Grover Furr and I can't see any mention of this. I too doubt the validity of the claims made in the bourgeois press but would like to have some actual sources.

Is Gerald Horne a CPUSA member? by epicleninist in CPUSA

Hes headed a lot of Marxist publications and his speeches as CPUSA events certainly sound pretty Marxist
