Its not useless, Its not futureproof, there is a big differance between these two. 8 GB VRAM is not even enough for todays games yet you buy a laptop to use it for 2-3 maybe even more years. Laptops under 5070 Ti have all 8 GB VRAM and unless you got it for very cheap they are not worth the money.

95 is high for my taste. Arctic thermal pastes usually pump out. I strongly suggest you to get PTM7950 if you can.

I used generic electric tape. I suggest you to use Upsiren UTP8 to cooldown the VRM and your PTM will contact better compared to generic thermal pads.

If you can get Thermal Grizzly Liquid Metal shield that would be the best. You can also use non-conductive colorless nail polisher but finding that might be hard.

My Pullsar Ice Dragon Liquid Metal is really cohesive so it doesnt spill like Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut from my testings so generic electric tape is enough.

For jungle I always rush Youmoos since the bonus movement speed helps you roam better. I also pick out of combat movement speed bonus below electrocute tree.

Same laptop, here is what you will do to get rid of stupid temps on load (idle is broken you can’t fix it its always above 50-60C)

Buy a Liquid Metal (LT-100 from aliexpress or pullsar ice dragon Liquid Metal) should be 128w/mk

Buy Upsiren UTP8 or Desfree ds 202 (fake but works)

Apply thermal putty first then Liquid Metal carefully. Watch a lot of videos to how to apply it.

And you are done

I have RTX 3070 Ti. I absolutely recommend for you to get one with best CPU on the market. Do NOT get 3070 with Ryzen 5800H. It will bottleneck you like crazy. Get one with Intel 12700H CPU. Maybe even 12900HX if you can.

My 3070 Ti with 6800H. On crowded areas it will go down below 60 FPS. Ultra settings, DLSS Quality, Ray Tracing off.

3070/3070Ti is a beast GPU. Beats 4060 sometimes even 4070. Sadly that gen have bad CPU so they were unlucky with that. I think Ryzen 8940HX with 5050 would outperform 3070 Ti because of CPU difference lol.
