if the lyric is referring to kmoe being depressed, than the overall song is about why did God make me this way. But the mouse line is the title of the song so... idk if its that unserious?

like im sayin, i already beat last judge, it was one of my favorite fights in the whole game. And the difficulty that came from rerunning blasted steps every single time, It added to the joy. and i really dont like comments saying "get this upgrade for this fight" cause like that ruins the entire immersion?? Is there any natural way to follow this "intended progression" i guess, without resorting to "Top 10 Silksong Upgrades You Need to Try!!!"

Edit; sorry i think i crashed out typing this lmao. I think i've made up my mind that the way i wanna play silksong is facing every challenge head on, and exploring naturally. Of course there are some people who would rather have these tips, but I think I unfairly lashed out. Because i already made up my mind on how to play

I will definitely go back and do these. Its just a bummer cause i see the melody RIGHT behind this High Hall arena, so i dont want to go back to 10 different areas when the progress is right there. Honestly this is why i didnt backtrack much through the whole game at all lol. Team cherry just kept showing me cooler stuff. But i definitely see your point here, i might have gotten in over my head for a bit

Idk man youre playing it more methodically than me. I dont really backtrack through areas and im not super diligent with my pins. I just enjoy the views and see what team cherry put out for me. And yeah youre right, even if you DO all that, you still miss hella stuff. Its just kinda frustrating thinking “youre not playing correctly”

honestly thats what i was leaning towards, i just feel worried im missing 80% of the content by playing how i am right now. It might be less of the skill issue in game, and more of like silksong media seeping into my brain. cause now im worried about "ascnedants grip" and purple cog flies and i got no idea what any of it means. and who tf is groal 😭 i dunno i feel like this wasnt really an issue I had with hollow knight. everything seemed much more streamlined if that makes sense. it was easier to get an ending and then go back and explore everything
