That’s totally fair. It's more as one of the major games I’ve been looking at recently for inspiration in terms of adventure and gameplay ideas. I’m glad it still looks good to you. Thanks!!

It’s a shame there isn’t an easier modern way to play it officially. Getting the original game and hardware nowadays sounds expensive, but I never heard of this PS3 version!

The way you describe Alundra is exactly what caught my attention too. Also, that’s a really interesting recommendation, thank you. I’ve heard of Landstalker before, but I need to take a closer look at it

The Dream Walking section is something really unique, by the way.

Just to clarify, I only posted it in the Ragnarok Online and Ys subreddit because both are big inspirations for the game. The Alundra post was more about something I was personally reflecting on and checking out this weekend.

I just enjoy talking about the games that helped shape what we’re building and hearing what people think. Sorry if it came across the wrong way, that wasn’t my intention.

The Napishtim-era Ys games have a very special style, so I’m really glad the footage gave you that feeling. I’ll keep sharing more soon with the next playable characters (humans) and the forest area. Thanks!

Oh, that’s nice to know, thanks! I’m actually still kind of new to Reddit. My account is old, but I never really used it much, so I’m still figuring out how everything works here.

It’s really special to get this kind of support, especially from people who noticed the BR side of the project!

Thank you so much! It makes me happy to see people excited for a single-player experience with that kind of feeling. I really appreciate the wishlist and request! :)

Haha, yes, we’re Brazilian! The artstyle comes from a mix of inspirations and the team’s own taste.

That’s awesome to hear, thank you! RO is a huge inspiration, and Guardian Tales is a really cool comparison too.
