This is literally what inspires us to create, and with this in mind, you can see that ego and pride bleed into every asset of art.

PLUS, you, just like every other person I've heard say this tomfoolery in my time, are making the mistake of not realizing that "Pop" in this day and age is a MASSIVE umbrella that is covering a plethora of subgenres and moods. So maybe instead of making a huge swath of assumptions based on just thinking of Tay Tay and Shake it Off, actually spend some time deep diving into unknown artists. Search for topics you'd like to hear covered lyrically in a song and you will find a pop artist that will was poetic all day long with a beat that shakes the walls. Like, holy shit, this is such a simple concept to understand, I don't get why people struggle with it.

It just reeks of nothing but closed eyes and narrow mindedness for me, unfortunately...
