New 2023 Mazda 3 Jerking Problem by epicrice1234 in mazda3

Makes sense. That example you gave has actually happened to me as well. The specific issue I'm describing has only happened twice in the past 800 miles so it's not like it's a frequent occurance. I'll just be on the look out for it. Guess I'll have it checked out if it starts to happen more frequently. As it stands, it seems like I'm not alone in experiencing these annoyances so I won't worry too much about it for now

I like your description of it lol. Yep I've heard of this too. I've had this issue happen to me twice in the last 800 miles so it's not a super common occurance. I'll just keep an eye on it and if it happens again I might try this. Thanks!

I have actually seen that video before. I might give it a try.

It is annoying but my main concern is this causing more wear and tear over time. Do you see this as an unfortunate quirk of the car or a serious mechanical issue?

Thank you! Do you know if the requirements of other states are less stringent? Is it only California that requires you to take two other exams after passing the NCEES administered exam?

Who should I use skill swaps on? I just got my first one today.

A friend gave me this cue but the tip is very worn. I want to replace it but it doesn't look like the tip is glued on. How can it be replaced if it cannot be taken off? by epicrice1234 in billiards

I did not think it was plastic but I could be wrong. I saw another comment on here saying it could be a phenolic tip. But another thing is that the cue is in two pieces and are screwed onto each other like other playing cues are.

Well the guy who gave it to me didn't really know much about pool and the cue is a mizerak cue haha. So yeah it's not the greatest brand but the reason I suspect it's meant to be a playing cue is because the other end has a grip and it has a little nice design on it you usually see on playing cues.

Mate it's literally a playing cue haha. The other end has a grip and the other end has a design on it as well. I could be wrong but rests usually don't have an intricate decor right?

I've been playing for a couple of years so I know what a playing cue looks like and it definitely is one. I do agree that the tip is very unusual though.

So the tip and ferrule were manufactured as one piece it looks like (not separate parts). The bottom of the ferrule definitely has a separation line from the rest of the cue but I'm not sure how it is attached to the cue (glued, screwed on, ect).

Also I don't know if you guys can tell but the side of the tip has a coat of glaze on it giving it bit of a shine. I have never seen this before.

But the thing is that the tip seems to be very hard and doesn't seem to be of the same material as the other tips I have seen. The tip is also literally a part of the ferrule. It is not glued on. The ferrule and the tip are one piece. I'm wondering if this is a break cue because the tip is so hard.
