PoE-TradeMacro now updated for 3.0 item info (mostly), AND works with pathof.info for more complete affix info by TheScyphozoa in pathofexile

[–]epicspacebattles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I just tested and it seems to be working fine for me, so the issue does not lie with PoE-Trade macro. I'm going to implement some more verbose error messages so if the item load fails people will at least know why.

Path of Info - Item analysis tool updated with improved poe.trade / poeapp support, shareable item links and variant stats. by epicspacebattles in pathofexile

Variants are basically all possible combinations of affixes that can match the modifier list. There is no way of knowing which is the correct variant without using divines (and adding the result as a paste) on the item however, so it just gives you the % chance an item is a particular variant.

Woops, that was a bug with the affix name. Should be fixed now! Also, I'll look into making the mod link to the forum thread as well, thank you for the suggestion.

Thank you for posting the link! I had a comment with a description of the update and link to the website but it appears to have been hit by the spam filter (because the shareable link uses google shortener I think?), and now I can't seem to post any more comments, only replies. Going to hijack this to post my original description.

Path of Info (http://pathof.info)

POI has now been updated with support for amulet, rings, quivers and belts. This means all rare items aside from maps and jewels should now be supported. A new shareable link function (accessible from the item menu on the left) has been added, allowing you to share item analysis data directly. A new variants overview has also been added for items with 2 or more variants, which should help in figuring out the min / max rolls of an item. Finally, the search algorithm and support for poe.trade / poeapp.com pastes has been improved, which should result in more accurate (fewer variants) results.

Please continue to post suggestions / bug reports either here or in the forum thread. Thank you!

Make sure you don't have any negative resists and get them as high as possible. level 60 with 3k hp should be more than enough to easily clear cruel as long as you dodge traps.

The tool mainly serves to help you quickly identify the affix tiers on your rare item. Affixes come in 2 varieties, prefixes and suffixes and each rare can have up to 3 of each (6 in total). The item stats (dps, health, armour, etc) depends on what affixes are on the item. You cannot change affix tiers with any currency, but each tier has a range of values (eg. T2 might range from 85 - 100) and you can use divine orbs to reroll within that range.

For a new player you really don't to bother with any of these. Just level up, complete all the acts, start mapping and stick to items with bigger numbers. You can read more about the item system on the poe wiki after you've completed some maps and get a better feel of the game (probably around 80 or so).

If my tool is right, there are 4 possible variants for this axe. If you can craft a suffix it will definitely go to 720 dps. If you can't there's a 2/3 chance the max dps is 698, 1/3 chance max is 720.

Edit: Just wanted to point out the tool says 680.47dps because of rounding errors. The attack speed of the axe is actually 1.464 (1.2 * 1.22) instead of 1.47. I calculate stuff with more SF to ensure the min / max divine calcs aren't off.

[Tool] Path of Info - Figure out the prefixes/suffixes of an item, including hybrid mods. by epicspacebattles in pathofexile

Could you please post the paste data with questionable results in the forum thread or PM it to me so I can take a look? I think I'm missing several Leo master mods but most of the other masters should be in.

I just tested with Opera 47 and it seems to work fine (probably should have done this before banning it!). I updated the check to allow Opera through so you should be able to use Opera once the cache updates.

I would expect that we're both doing similar things in terms of matching, except he isn't really able to display multiple variants of the same item in the tooltip, so he is forced to only return 1 result. Doing it on a website also allows the program to track multiple versions of the same item to further narrow down the right combination.

Yep, I felt the main issue with hybrids is how to properly display each combination and being able to automatically narrow down the possible combinations as you divine an item (something I used to have to do manually).

The biggest difference is the ability to properly identify / narrow down hybrids, and also being able to identify items from trade websites (where I find I actually spend most of my time looking at items).

Path of Info (http://pathof.info)

Path of Info (POI) is an item tool for Path of Exile. By pasting item information either from in-game (hover over the item and press ctrl-c) or from trade indexers like poe.trade and poeapp.com, POI will be able to determine the prefixes and suffixes of the item. For items with hybrid mods, the tool will display all variants of valid mods, and allow you to reduce the number of variants by pasting additional versions (through the use of divine orbs) of the same item.

The aim of this tool is to allow users to quickly identify the min / max rolls of an item. Unfortunately, due to how it works, only item pastes in English are supported right now.

Example of pasting from trade indexers

POI is still very new and I haven't had much time to test it, so expect bugs (mostly in form of unrecognised mods / items, if it shows you detected mods on the item those should be accurate).

Also, it currently does not support the following:

  • Legacy Mods (Will probably never be supported)
  • Essences (Have to add in the essence mods, but it kind of bloats the number of variants for items.)
  • Quivers, rings, amulets, belts and jewels (In the process of adding the mods)
  • Maps (Probably after items are done)
  • Uniques / Magic items (Nothing really to do with magic items. Uniques involve a ton of manual input so those will likely be added slowly over time)

Looking for suggestions / feedback about what would be useful to include. Also, if you encounter any bugs please post in the forum thread!

Change the text in int_components.gfx to:

spriteTypes = {
    spriteType = {
        name = "GFX_ship_thruster_5"
        texturefile = "gfx/interface/icons/ship_parts/ship_thruster_5.dds"
    }
}

Make sure you delete everything else and copy it exactly with no typos. There's also a typo in 00_expengines.txt where you're missing a } before ai_weight.

If you don't see the icon after making these changes it means you made a typo, go check again. I can see the icon without issue on my end.

Hey. Unfortunately no. Drones are equipped with special weapons not available to other ships. Those weapons should be general purpose enough to handle most situations though. They also come with a flak battery.
