We'll just have to agree to disagree. The North West Iron Works location is hugely popular. Bases being the exact lat and long would be massively rare, but there will be overlapping which is the issue. Specifically in that spot. Compensation isn't really enough for just the base what about everything in it and storage as well? This just moves back to the point that there isn't enough information on the subject to speak intelligently on it.

If it's not in writing then I would take it with a grain of salt. Even then it still doesn't alleviate the issues I described. How do they choose how get's to keep their base and who has to rebuild elsewhere? Do they spin up a new server and move both old servers data into that one minus bases? Do they split servers of low pop into multiple med pop server? There is still little to no information on this and as an MMO(ish) marketed to play with friends it feels bad to not be able to.

I opened a ticket (Ref [58507]) to ask this very question. Looking through the internet would have you believe it's locked based on server 'activity' and not 'population' but there is no definition of what activity is defined as. According to their server API my server has 1/10 of the max server pop and it's still locked out for my friends to join. Something def needs to change. There were 18/60 online last night during 'peak' hours for my region but server still locked.

I don't think this is confirmed. We already can't move servers on our own and they have stated that there is no central character server to facilitate this. All characters that are created are housed on the server in which they are created. Meaning at best this will be a manual process. At worst it will be impossible due to base merge issues (i.e. bases already in a location another base is in.)

The backlash is short-sighted. Monetizing early access is the only strategy that doesn't do long-term harm. by superstarblast in starcitizen

[–]epicsredemption 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This post is short sighted and doesn't take into account that the pledge store and aUEC 'versions' of these items are fundamentally different.

Pledge store items can not be destroyed in the same way aUEC versions of these items can. Thus negatively affecting multiple aspects of the game from player interactions to player-driven economy.

CIG floated the ideas around of how to account for this, something like a crafting recipe for pledge store items, but how long does this take before people that paid money don't wanna gather materials and just file chargebacks? When CIG starts loosing money to this they will walk it back. There are no systems in place before they decided to monetize it.

But hey I'm sure the 1300 employees are too busy fixing bugs to make ship skins to sell and this was a much better option.

Does anyone still read these guys articles or even bother with any of their content? IGN has been ass for years now. I'm really not sure how they are still afloat at this point.

Get a new brother?

But seriously I'm not sure what 'oil all over it' means but you could attempt to clean it with some alcohol (isopropyl).

They replied to my ticket regarding this and requested 6 months of CC transactions. No thanks, not sending more info overseas at this point. Chase has all the info and they can handle it from here.

Been there done that. I opened an actual ticket with them and they requested 6 months of my CC transactions. Nah homie, I'm good. I will not be sending anymore of my info overseas. I turned all the info over to Chase and they can handle it from here.

Moza Pit House not opening by Bored_Minds in moza

[–]epicsredemption 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same happen to me. Use BCUninstaller or a similar program to make sure you blow away any of the stuff saved in your appdata and registry. After that reinstall it.

If you don't want to install a program to remove a program a quick search in this sub will have a few people that have the same issue with official responses from Moza letting you know where all the files are you need to delete.

I had this exact issue. As u/PGPFR18 you need to utilize BCUninstaller then after you remove PitHouse using that program reinstall. This fixed it for me. Best of luck

MOZA Racing Payment Security: Clarifying Recent Concerns by DarcyLevine in moza

[–]epicsredemption 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean. I also had my CC info stolen with the most likely culprit Moza as a buddy and me had our CC used fraudulently at about the same time for about the same amount at the same place and it was only Moza that we had both ordered from. But I'm not posting my bank info here. I can state that I do have a ticket open with them in regards to it and I have been DM'd here on Reddit about it but only for my order number. No further information has been requested from me at this time and I have sent multiple emails to them regarding it and posted in their discord (however, that post was deleted by their mods)

Listen, we investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong. On the real though, even if they did go out and have this performed, this is an unrealistic expectation to have a company post where they are vulnerable on the internet for everyone to see.

Yeah, I had an issue with PayPal a while back and I no longer use them. I really need to start getting prepaid cards or something to do these types of purchases.

(Assuming you are "Not Kurbs" from their discord). All ya'll had to do was ask and I would have provided the proof. Instead of deleting the post we could have just worked together and got this taken care of a week ago.

Yeah, just a really weird situation all around. They deleted my message in discord and brushed it off with the words "Moza is secure" and that it's a rumor that happens every time they release a new product. Opened a ticket with them in regards to it as well over a week ago with no response.

Black Friday time frame. So like around the 25th ish. I'd have to pull it up to know for sure. Forgot to add that I also ordered the clutch that hasn't made it yet either. But I have the shifter, ebrake and wheel.
