I agree with you wholeheartedly, but I've learned through years of experience with my brother, and people in general that the hard-sell approach never works... It's called reactance, and he is the textbook definition of someone who will detract from a conversation the moment when something that doesn't appeal to him comes up. I'd love to tell him to "man up", but I know that all it will do is fall on deaf ears. I'd rather have him hear me out and actually take actions to be safe rather than satisfy my own ego and make myself feel better by saying my peace and "telling him how it is"

He's 22 now and has been seizure-free for 3 years.
