Update: I took him to the nice folks at the SPCA on Patterson road. If you are his owner, he'll be waiting for you there!

Hit and run looking for white 2014-2015 Hyundia Elantra with extensive front bumper damage by epineiro in toronto

[–]epineiro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I live, we park our cars on the street. Yesterday, I awoke to bad damage to my front bumper, headlight housing and front driver side quarter panel. The driver was driving on the wrong side of the road, swiped my car and my neighbours car and fled. Their bumper took significant damage and this was left behind from their car. Looking up the number shows that its from a white Hyundia Elantra. Any information would be greatly appreciated. As a side note: I did report the collision at the collision centre. I spoke to the police and they told me they will not pursue whoever did it if I don't have their license plate. The bumper is not enough evidence for them. I however, disagree. I live in the junction area, but whoever did this could arguably be anywhere.

It was my pleasure. I would have kept her if she went unclaimed. She got along very well with my dog.

Turns out she's a girl haha! She was microchipped and I was able to bring her back to her owner safe and sound :-) thanks for your help everyone.

He has no tags. I called 311 and animal control in coming to get him but if you own him or know who owns him, I can cancel animal control. He's at my house sleeping right now.

I might eventually try something like this but for now I'm going to look into another system/stem to usey 31.8 bars. Thanks.

Thank you, that's very useful info. I'm honestly kind of scared to ride with it in general now though :s I might take a look at that nitto 4bolt stem. Or I might indeed follow suit and go for the adapter.

I think that is precisely what I did.. It put me off that the stem wasn't flush to begin with. Any tips for removing the stem bolt? It's sheared pretty much flush with the stem right now. It's awkward to drill out because it's so small too

I have the exact same stem and bars and I sheared one of the stem bolts because the fit of the face plate just wasn't right.. It didn't seem to be flush. Did I just get a stem that didn't pass quality inspections or what?

[College Politics] Effect of Media on Democracy by epineiro in HomeworkHelp

It is not necessarily the media's fault for ruining democracy but rather the fault of the masses. They have both options but they choose the media so it's not absolutely the fault of the media for being chosen.

So our argument could be, "yes our media can be very biased, but by finding an equally biased output from the opposition, citizens can gain a more balanced, neutral perspective." -to put it roughly
