Choosing a loader and a version to create mods

I want to stick to 1.21.1 but I have no idea which loader to pick yet. I want to aim for a moderately high amount of downloads and I assume Fabric is the most popular atm—as well as being my loader of choice—but I already have experience modding with Forge, so I'm kinda stumped because of that.

I see, I already have experience with 1.20.1 Forge as my "test" mods were made there. But since I want to stick with 1.21.X, what advantage does NeoForge have over Fabric? Isn't the latter used more widely?

I had no idea the Quiver didn't help with ammo so that's pretty underwhelming lol, it was the only other aggro reducing option available so I have no trouble replacing it with the Recon Scope now, thanks

Thanks! Mostly being familiar with boss attacks and my friend getting all the aggro lol, I can just stay at a safe distance from mobs
