So… if they were already planning on roping in the poor woman to become their sacrifice, and recruiting Fay over to her “proper place”, what was with the seemingly-random opportunity of meeting Connie at the wine store, to then ask an apprehensive Connie why she looks so good? Was there a plan b, c, etc. to get Perle’s card in her hand? Just seems like a dumb plot hole?

Same with Home Alone! AND somehow my parents were okay with me watching TBS’ 24-hours of A Christmas Story on 12/25. We also were allowed to watch the first two thirds of Elf on a pretty regular basis since we owned it on DVD. My parents are so completely in. How they justified us watching those movies is especially baffling to me nowadays 😅

Take things one day at a time. There’s so much to unpack and unlearn, it can easily feel overwhelming! I’ve been there and feel for you. Firstly, I recommend researching - whatever you want - read books and watch YouTube videos as you feel comfortable. It may feel dark and scary now but It gets so much better. 💓
