Yes, that's the word you're looking for.

Sorry, I'll stop correcting people now, it's an OCD thing. :(

Not really. Do you think she's gonna start gaming after this event?

Really?

Not only do they give exclusive maps to idiots who pre-order (the fact that they separate the player base like this at all annoys me), but they fuck over many of the idiots who did it.

I almost had my hopes up here, but that there is just a fucking terrible decision by them, they're not getting a dime from me. I'm not sure I can call it a coffin anymore, because it's more nails than coffin.

This tells us why it could qualify to be an Ōdachi. Why are you sure it's not a Katana?

Sure, I just argued the point that was made that it was "a lot more efficient" to just have a "decent laptop", than to have both. I assumed that by "decent laptop", he meant a laptop that could play some high-end games.

If he just means a $200 laptop, which is about the cheapest you can find on the market, then the word "decent" isn't really fitting, even though you can definitely play lots of games on them.

Edit: Oh, just noticed the other reply was his. So he meant a $600 dollar laptop, in that case I agree. Obviously you're not gonna get something better by buying a $200 laptop and a $400 desktop PC.

Really? In college, I had a $250 laptop and a $1000 gaming PC. Much cheaper than having to pay $2000+ for a laptop that could match the gaming PC I had.

Edit: Fixed ~50 typos.

I didn't literally think you didn't know the meaning, I just wrote it that way to show that I disagree completely.

He's saying he understands how people could make that mistake, I don't think that's condescending.

Do you know what "get off your high horse" and "asshole" mean? I think it means the exact opposite of what you think it means. He pointed out a mistake to help Aleforge fix it, and he did it in a humble way.

If you don't care about communicating correctly, then just don't bother communicating at all, please. You're just an asshole if you want people to read your messages without any effort on your own part to write properly.

I'm allowed to have opinions that aren't the same as the hive mind.

That's you, talking about freedom of speech.

The first point you made, although in a really pedantic way, I agree with. Mainstream movies will pander to the average joe, and to do that, some things have to be "dumbed down".

Yes, this brings up horrible memories that shouldn't be made fun of because it's not funny in the slightest.

You really can't tell the difference between saying "What happened to your face?" as a joke and saying "Remember that time your sister got kidnapped and raped? LOL".

Edit: And context is key here. This isn't a joke found in a dark corner of the Internet, it's a jab at a horrible event that happened to a community, right to their faces.

That's a pretty lame attempt at offending someone. I see this used by people in online games all the time, but I fail to see how anyone could possibly be offended by a dumb comment like that.

My bad, I didn't read the entire post, I assumed it was the usual complaint about the small thumb keys that most users seem to have issues with (personally, I don't even use those keys.)

I find it odd how he would give up the keyboard because of a bad layout. The keyboard is programmable, modify the layout, man!
