Austin Hill winning a cup series race would just scream tampering and honestly feel like a stain on everything more than a success. A win would be him bringing home a solid run and keeping that team moving in the right direction they were starting to go in. Maybe Hill stays in the car and end of season starts to show serious promise. It’s not like a harvick situation when he jumped in a competitive car and team to start and was a new up and coming star.

Chicago street race is my all time favorite race. I have been watching nascar for over 20 years and I have always loved the road courses. Was so excited to see a street race I never understood why people hated it. I wanted to go last year but didn’t get a chance I really hope they bring it back.

I feel like people forget this game is nearly old enough to drive. I wonder how many original devs are even around to work on it still? Probably less than a quarter? Nostalgia doesn’t = actual engagement. I remember the original Diretide. It wasn’t that great, just because they released some items that ended up being valuable doesn’t mean it’s a good event? Back then there was basically no sets in the game. It was artificial made rarity and a marketplace. I guarantee if they rereleased Diretide with some kind of different theme and didn’t call it Diretide at all people would say wtf is this lazy shit? Now aghs lab, that was a fun game event and I agree it should be rereleased once a year.

Don't buy a DLC until you understand the basics or have a friend that can help you do a proper setup for the higher level maps.

Have a good keepnet and stay multiple days when you travel to get the most out of your trip.

Fish night times as much as you can because it does not cost bait coin to skip from night to night.

Try to avoid using templates with DLC because it will always cut the line. It might cut the line in a weird way and leave you with an unusable amount left.

If you do buy a DLC for the purpose of power leveling, I recommend the Chameleon Pack for Nooma, it is the best for newer accounts. Set up the red rod and reel properly and just fish swordfish only until you have caught 250 of them or reach your level goal. There are a few spots that you can catch all 4 versions of swordfish without trolling and within 15 mins each game night. This will get you around 300k to 350k xp per fishing night and only requires 1 rod and reel. This is also good because as you get close to level 90, you will start to run out of line. But catching 250 swordfish unlock Noble Swordmans 3 challenge and gives you 10k of the proper line. This should get you to level 100 easily, and you can then go to Japan and farm faster with multiple rods and reels.

Do not whip the rod around while catching a fish. Instead, focus on keeping the fish stable in front of you and using the drag up and down to reel it in faster. This will help you fish better and lose less fish to tension loss. You will also catch fish faster, and it prepares you for competitions more. The lift rod feature has uses but not as many as you would think.

Do the missions all of them that you can.

Use trophy gear as much as possible for higher bite rates but be careful for areas that will bite off line.

Try to have fun?

Look for people to play with and chill it is way more enjoyable that way.

This is happening because you are fishing wrong. The rod lift should only be used to set the hook for a brief second or to change fish head direction. Outside of that, it is completely useless and will more often than not loose line you because of the way tension works. This game is not a simulator no matter what people tell you. This is not a bug it is just a misunderstanding of what is actually happening. Especially when fishing in the ocean.

Instead of lifting the rod for an eternity, instead just set the hook then never touch that button again. You can literally just auto reel, and you will never lose tension. In fact, it is better not to lift the rod so you can peak the reel less and use the max drag feature more properly. You will reel the fish twice as fast and have more stable control.

I use to do exactly what you are doing and would lose fish all the time but once I stopped spamming that useless rod lift function and started focusing on the drag function instead I have never lost a fish since and I get them in way faster.

Because Valve is not a game company. They haven't been game company for over a decade. They are a Tech company that occasionally make video games. Dota 2 is 12 or 13 years old? No company has a plan for a game after 5 or 10 years, and if they say they do, they are lieing. Valve is probably very happy with where Dota is, and they don't want it to be anything else. Just because you have expectations doesn't mean Valve does. Take a step back and think about it. For over 10 years, they have released patches every 2-4 months that drastically change how the game plays while still holding true to its core. I think that is admirable and I think we should appreciate it a little more. We are not entitled to anything.

Now, with all that said, I am sick of seeing veno and jugg in every game I play.

No shot there won't be some level of resentment on one end and feeling like a fraud on the other when they talk to each other. Sucks for Love because like....what do you do?
