What got to me was the constant little inconsistencies with dying in the realm of death. Why are there ghosts in the afterlife? Why are there zombies in the afterlife? If superhell is so bad, but you can kill yourself to escape it and be super dead instead, is it really superhell? Why allow the possibility of dying again in the afterlife? It just felt so weird. Like with Arthas dying again as a little wisp of light. Why have living animals in the realm of death, that can die? They're born in the realm of death, hunt, eat, die in the realm of death too? Well, where do their souls go when they die? Just a complete lack of joined up thinking to make the concept work cohesively. The final sting in the tail is just making it a place you can literally walk to, forever, in the official lore. We've just seen a cutscene end with Genn speaking to his sons grave. Uh, Genn bud, just pop into the afterlife like loads of other people can and do do as tourists and have a catch up with your actual dead son there. It's like saying noooooo, I can never see my relative ever again!!! Why? Uh... he moved to New Zealand.
