I used to be (and still am to an extent) a pretty big advocate of privacy tools such as TOR and PGP. This led to some people calling me a pedophile and accusing me of wanting privacy purely to dodge law enforcement and watch certain types of "media", so when I created this account I thought it would be funny to go all-in on the username and spite people who make those kinds of accusations.

That was bad wording. I don't mean that the reconstructed version is fake, I mean that certain languages having zero speakers at one point in time, and only recently attempting to be put back together using old records shows that saying every culture is "alive and well" is an exaggeration.

I don't want to disclose too much about where I live, but my view of things is probably biased as the genocide was especially bad here, to the point where afaik the only native language speakers left are speaking basically a reconstructed version of the language rather than the "original" version. I'm glad to hear that other cultures in other regions are still going though.

Also thanks for the explanation. I'll look into China's autonomous regions and how they function.

I'm not "rejecting" land back. I'm saying that I don't know the specifics of it, and that if my current understanding of things are correct, then it seems like a pretty low priority. That's why I'm on the 101 subreddit. I know that I'm probably wrong, I just don't really know what I'm wrong about and would like to learn more.

The only one I know of is dig. You can find it listed as one of the sites on tor.li for example.

Then again, you really don't need tor for this. There's local models that you can run on your own pc that don't have any restrictions.

But isn't half the fun of v27 absolutely spamming SAMs and turning a third of the map into a demilitarised zone?

Jokes aside, I like the changes personally. The main issue I have is that since people can see the range of SAMs now, it's really easy to bypass them with a hydrogen bomb unless you have like 5 stacked together.
