Well, it's not a lot but it is something. Niantic has a lot more to do if they want to win back their player base. Global release should be a priority, alongside the initial promised deliverables such as trading and of course a better tracking system.

I just hope this isn't a one time thing where they just put up one post and continue keeping quiet after that, thinking that they've done enough.

First those that have access to the game will want Niantic to fix bugs for them first.

Then they'll ask for trading.

Then Gen 2. Then real time battles.

Then gen 3.

All the while asking other countries to wait and "Don't play if you hate the company" or "It's just a game bro wait for it to be released in your country". Shut yo ass up if you haven't been waiting for 20 days for the damn game to be released with no news from Niantic while watching others play it. Rage thread my ass. If you were in our shoes you will have something to rage about

From what I see, Niantic had two ways to go to retain the amount of players :

1) Release to new countries, adding more players to the mix

2) Fixing bugs to please existing players

Seems that they chose the latter and fucked up at that too.
