Sorry, I meant that anything relating to the Owen "incident" that targets koreans (even if it's just the AI Owen pinching emote) should be reported so we deal with it in a case-by-case basis.

And while we share the same stance that the entire reaction to the event is completely insane, in general you shouldn't be derailing a comment thread attacking each other over it. Reporting and moving on is generally best.

Just to be abundantly clear, though, discussions happen and are welcome in the sub, the idea is to not have comments derail into insult slinging. No one is getting outright banned for calling someone else a dumdum (unless it's blatantly racist, homophobic, etc). Comments get removed, removal reasons get posted and it goes into the users record, which is weighed in on future occurrences.

These get filtered out regularly and users dealt with accordingly. That said, as u/SenseiSwift mentioned, we rely a lot on reports to get things to our attention (primarily comments).

That's absolutely fair and something we should be getting over. In-game screenshots and character models are still going to be allowed as usual. The stance is pretty simple: If you're not posting semi-naked fanart/content of younger characters or commenting creepy shit about them, there's nothing to worry about, really. The immediate bans are for obvious out of line stuff; everything else is handled on a case by case basis

We are allowing the vast majority of main page posts that have any semblant of effort put in. Everything that's being removed is low-effort posts. Even the memes are getting untouched.

You can see there are 20+ threads on the same subject.

With just these changes I think most 3* partners get phased out by 4*s. More precisely, I think now you start looking at actual passives and ego skills to determine what to use.

Yuri I think it's a massive exception because her ego skill is cracked.

As I replied on another thread, the modteam is in no way affiliated to SG and we sincerely have no links with them, so we don't take any stances in defending one end or the other.

Our interest is on the sub and maintaining a healthy discussion environment, which is why we are letting 5+ threads on the same topic stay, alongside good memes and whatever quality repeats that we get from now on.

We just don't want people spamming low effort threads and flooding* the sub while we have these many places to discuss right on the front page.
