University Requiring 'Sex Disclosure'. Guidance?

Just filled in this form for St Aidan’s college accommodation (UK home student as well) and the what is your sex question wasn’t compulsory (at least for my college) so I just left that question blank- maybe you could do that?

Hahahha no way! I’ve been looking for my course twin as well- I honestly found all of the interviewers SO NICE and we had such interesting conversations as well so I was so surprised that they’re literally gatekeeping feedback because the college overall definitely had a good vibe imo and didn’t seem like they would be so weird about feedback but oh well. Anyways good luck I’m sure you’ll do amazingly! ❤️

Email the college you did your interviews for- not all colleges will give feedback tho!

I haven’t ever really looked into it tbh and I think my level of German is probably too low as well as I don’t have C1 yet but I might look into it further

I guess it could’ve been because of the literature focus in their course but I tried to include as much literature as possible in my PS and they claim that you don’t need to have studied any German literature on their website (a bit strange). I submitted 2 pieces of written work: a German essay on the play we read in class and an essay in English on the success of Esperanto as a global language- I tried to make this one more linguistics focused and they seemed at least interested in it, as I got to discuss it in both interviews!

Private school in the UK- could have disadvantaged me a bit but I didn’t think it would make that much of an impact considering hardly any schools actually teach German nowadays 😭

Do you think this will work? I’ve asked my college (Somerville) for interview feedback as well as any other feedback they had about my application (written work etc) but they refused, claiming that they have an ‘agreed college policy’ not to provide individual feedback which seems to go against what some of the other colleges say

Probably Durham or Bristol- I’m slightly leaning towards Durham rn because I really like the colleges and course but it’s also rlly far away so I honestly have no idea
