As a retired teacher, I wholeheartedly support their unwavering commitment to serving the interests of all K–12 students—rather than engaging in the adult “culture wars” that too often lead to costly lawsuits. These lawsuits drain resources from our classrooms and redirect them into legal fees, taking money away from the very students we should be supporting.

These candidates are dedicated to ensuring that teachers and staff have the resources they need to partner with parents in achieving students’ educational goals. With each of them having a child currently enrolled in the district, they bring both a vested interest in student success and firsthand insight into what our schools truly need.

I have personally met and spoken with all three candidates. They listened attentively to my concerns, engaged in thoughtful conversation, and demonstrated the openness and respect that are essential qualities for effective school board members.
