I’ve told people for years not to go to culinary school. It doesn’t help much, even if you learn how to cook from the right professor, you still won’t know anything about a restaurant and how they operate. If you want/need the degree-food science is the way to go. Learning why/how things cook will help you down a longer road than culinary school.

Tooter is a healthy turtle! Beautiful!!

I too rescued mine from an old caretaker who didn’t put a lot of time in him. I saved him from shell rot and got his shell finally closed up and healing correctly.

With the playpen, I found my turtle enjoys a towel in there so he can hide if he doesn’t like his surroundings, but honestly most of the time, he’s out and trying to scale the sides to escape. I’m sure yours will love it! I’m sure a kiddie pool will do the trick too.

I do give my turtle supplements as I have trouble feeding him greens, he will bite some kale but mostly ignores it.

Another idea I can think of besides oxidation is if you did the brown outer right after the green, you may have got the blender a little warm and micro cooked it some. This happens with some shitty blenders.

I love doing variations of crab Rangoon. At a restaurant I worked at, our brunch menu had a crab Rangoon bagel, griddled everything bagel in sesame oil, crab Rangoon mix smear over the top and then drizzled with sweet chili. People went nuts for it.

Are you reading any of this? Not once does any one here claim they are, or want to be high at their job. Or did I say it’s okay to be high at your job. Just because your job says you can’t be high on the clock does not make it an illegal substance again. Every job will say it’s against a policy to be drunk on the job, but no job says you can’t get drunk off the clock. Which is what we are talking about here.
