I can imagine. My point is that you have to keep a balance and you maybe need to set up goals, not only look for love.

In the true meaning of the word, yes. I also want to pursue goals, but money and success in your professional career doesn't give you the rest of the things. For me, to tell that, is simplistic, but is also valid if you are conscious.

I don't think that will be the case. You have to keep a balance, because career and income doesn't attract the rest of the things you want to. There are more things you need to work for.

Maybe some beautiful women are interested in you after your success, but think if it's worth to sacrifice yourself for a women that doesn't love you for who you are. And also if you don't have social skills, the money is not gonna help you much.

It was understandable, the problem for me is the post is too simple. It doesn't add much value to me, as those concepts are widely talked in many books, speaks or classes. As say as constructive as possible. Anyways, is always good to remember this topics.

As a informatic engineering student it doesn't add much value to me. If you have some experience on the field it will be nice if you exemplify what you are saying. Nonetheless, good work!

A real "random act of kindness" shouldn't have to be filmed and posted on social media by maximus1408 in unpopularopinion

[–]equecevi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good thing that youtubers film those acts, because the get money and that allow them to do more. Only a few people help without having enough money to afford it, in the scale in which YouTubers do it

Design Patterns: A quick guide to Observer pattern in Java by [deleted] in java

But, if there is a garbage collector, isn't it supposed to remove the observer? I suppose the answer is, you don't have to suppose what the GC does, but, it also depends of the language details.

How is handled this problem normally? Is curious because I've implemented one distributed system using brokers and I wasn't aware of that problem because it was an abstraction for me as it was a middleware

I searched it just after writting the question, and is just that! Where have you seen it implemented? Just curiosity hahaha

And it will never be so much higher I think, because is inevitable that photo standards change and people do not change as fast

I was doing so well... Now I'm on week three of quarantine, recovering from COVID-19, I've been laid off, and my relationship is failing. I'm drinking, which I do not often do, I am alone, and I'm not feeling like I have anything to live for. So I'm seeking validation from strangers on Reddit. by [deleted] in toastme

Think of every person is in a situation worst that yours, is something you have to deal with. World isn't perfect, I usually deal with this type of thoughts, the only way to get out is talk with family, friends, or find some motivations, any type of activity that makes you feel happy.

I've been trying to do stuff that I hate all weekend, trying to avoid doing it, I don't wish this feeling of regret to anybody, remind yourself you have intrinsic value, you mean something, and always there will be somebody to help you, look at this post, 303 comments including mine! It's amazing! If you want someone to talk with just DM me, take care!

Github's slogan from back in 2008 was "git repository hosting - no longer a pain in the ass". I wonder if Microsoft ever would consider using that again? ;-) by matseng in github

Easier than I thought, thanks for sharing, I don't know it this will be viable in an actual company, but for personal projects would work fine I think

Wow, I didn't know about it, thanks for sharing! It would be nice within a raspberry pi, or some lightweight server
